VHTF Vintage Cissy Walks her Dog Madame Alexander. Vintage 1956 Madame Alexander Cissy “Walks the Dog”! A beautiful 1956 Cissy “Walks the Dog” made by the Madame Alexander Company. This is a beautiful Cissy doll with blonde hair. One small split at knee. The rest of her body is perfect no splits or cracks at hips or anywhere except the one on leg. She is tightly strung and holds a pose nicely. No missing eyes lashes and eyes are a beautiful clear blue. Cissy is wearing her original outfit that consists of a white wool top trimmed at neckline with rolled elastic and closes on the back with 3 snaps , a black velvet swing skirt with a distinct magenta velvet waistband accented with jewels, a flocked hat with metal fleur-de-lis accent often found on crowns the netting is gone, pink and black heels in perfect condition. The elastic is in amazing shape for how old lots of stretch. Her original blue pearls, white can-can slip, white lace trimmed panties and nylons. You have choice of dog I have her original white dog or a sweet terrier dog to walk. The doll and the outfit are both in very good condition. We could not find a tag on the outfit but know it is right and original. This top is wool. It is made of Australian wool that has cotton lining. I had it made from a very talented seamstress. It snaps up back has buttons on back for original look. A wonderful Cissy Doll from Madame Alexander! Here is a Vintage 1956 VHTF Cissy Walks Her Dog Doll #2094 With Original Box by Madame Alexander. She is in Very Good to Excellent Condition. The Outfit Does Have Some Major Issues which is Common for This particular Outfit. But, By Judging The Overall Condition Of Doll and Her Box; These items Have Always Been in a Good Climate Control Environment! If You Happen to Have a Duplicate Outfit Only to Switch Out With This Set, Then You Would Have a Real Gem For Your Collection! Cissys hair is Mostly in Original Set with a few flyaways. Eyes are Blue, great Lashes, All Original face paint. No retouches, repairs, etc.. The Only real issue on This Doll is Someone painted her nails Long ago. I Scraped Some off with my fingernail, So it May all Come off! ? Did Not use any chemicals to remove It. The Outfit is in Mostly Poor Condition. Hat net is all but gone, Also, most flocking is gone. Skirt is ripped and deteriorating. Slip And Panties are in Very Good Condition. Slip elastic Slighty relaxed as Well as Original Heels. The Little Pooch is Original and In Excellent Condition. And Original Marked Box is One Of The Cleanest Ive Seen , Although Lid is missing flaps and Taped up. There is Also Letters M A written on Lid (crayon)! ? Very Hard To Find Rare Evening Gown on original Doll. 1955 Golden Caped Gown. Has a few issues. Missing the two metal brad on gown straps. Replaced gold cord on cape. Shoes and stocking not original. Slip has attached panties. Boning needs to be ironed. Dolls eyes are turned but hauntingly beautiful. The hair is excellent and original. She has a thin split on one knee as shown. My dolls are all around 50-80 years old. I consider them TLC and some are in better condition than others. I try to mention anything I see, but please read the description and look at the pictures. Sun Dress of Organdy with val lace on the puffed sleeve and bodice. Rhinestones accent the bodice. This dress came with a floral print and the small bird print. This is the small. Print which is rarer. Very hard to find dress. Also included is the cream lace slip with tight elastic. My dolls are all around 50-80 years old.
