Vintage Alexander Cissette doll from the 1950s. Brunette with tagged dress and what appears to be her original straw hat. She is also wearing her original nylons, undies and shoes. Approximately 10 inches tall. Very good, vintage condition. Photos are considered part of the description. Doll stand not included. Let me know if you need any further information. Madame Alexander’s Cissette. One of the most beautiful Cissette’s I have ever seen! This rare Cissette and her outfit are both in pristine condition in the original box. Outfit #731 is tagged and complete. Her stringing is tight and she poses beautifully. Her blond hair is in its original style which is a flip hair-do. She has beautiful facial coloring. She wears her gorgeous blue lace dress which is crisp and unplayed with. The blue color looks new and has not faded to purple as is the case with most of these dresses. There are no marks, holes, tears, stains, fading or odors of any kind. Her blue hat is adorned with full, uncrushed flowers in original colors surrounded with blue tulle netting. The elastic on her gold shoes has not relaxed. Cissette’s crinoline and underwear are also mint with elastic that has not relaxed. She wears her original pearl drop earrings. This rare doll comes in her original box. Cissette comes from a clean, non-smoking and odor-free home. This is THE DOLL for serious collectors. GORGEOUS DOLL-she does have some minor flaws-some very light marks on her face-its really hard to see so i toke her out in the daylight to picture.. One earring right side other side has the earring broke off in it…. Scuff on butt-may be other minor flaws I missed but I did look her over-no cracks…. With hose and plastic shoes.. She is clean and has no odors, stains, or chews. She has a gorgeous face and lovely eyes, but she has a few issues. Her wig has been retied up on the sides at one time. The hair on the front of the wig and in the side tie ups is very stiff and cannot be recombed or restyled. I believe this was because she had a break in her wig center seam and someone sprayed it to prevent hair loss. Some separation of the wig at the temples. The top knot and the back of the hair are not sprayed and I have combed it back into curls. She has new blush added. But all other face makeup is original. Her eyes are original and have full lashes. She has nice arms with no rips in the sockets. Body is also very nice with little joint rub. She has had a repair to the bottom of the right leg. Restrung lower leg, as the original metal spring was broken. It is a nice repair, but it is not as tight as the metal spring was. It is not floppy however. Small surface hairline opening in the top surface of the inside of that same knee. It does not go through, and in my opinion is very stable. Not a perfect doll by any means, but with a crown or a hat on her wig issues could be concealed, and she poses very nice. She has earring holes. I do not photoshop or alter my pictures in any way. Vintage 1950′s Madame Alexander Cissy doll. Hard plastic with vinyl jointed arms. Stitched part honey blonde wig. Tagged coral taffeta dress. Vintage faux fur stole. Presented here is a beautiful vintage Madame Alexander Cissy doll. She has a hard plastic jointed body with vinyl jointed arms. Stitched part honey blonde wig in curls with bangs, the hair looks more reddish in the photos but I would call it honey or. Blue-green sleep eyes that open and closes with thick hair lashes, painted under lashes, nice coloring, coral mouth, pierced ears with rhinestone drop earrings. Marked on the back of the head “ALEXANDER” under the hair. She is wearing an original 1950′s tagged long coral taffeta formal gown, it has prong set rhinestone accents at the neck and side. The dress is lined and has a net, lace trimmed, petticoat attached at the waist seam, overall excellent vintage condition, shows some age. Cissy has a vintage white faux fur stole, the sole is not tagged but looks factory made, it is lined and wired on the edges so it stays in place and holds it’s shape, it has a shadow of pale blue on the lining. Her panties are white with lace trim and coral bows, she has white plastic molded high heel shoes, one shoes has the loop broken at the ankle strap but still shows nicely. Lovely, red head Cissy wearing only her earrings. Made by Madame Alexander in the 1950s. She is 20 inches tall with sleep eyes, full lashes and a fully jointed hard plastic body; all joints work well. Her wig with great red hair is in the original style and good condition. The doll is in excellent, original condition with no damage, splits or cracks. She could use light cleaning to remove a couple marks at her waist and a rub mark at the neck socket. Cissy is dressing for an evening out. She is wearing a very nice bra, girdle, and garter set in excellent condition. I believe the undergarments were made by Premier, but there are no tags. The elastic in the girdle is in wonderful condition for its age, with no stretching or relaxing to the elastic. The items are clean and have no signs of play or display wear. There is also a second bra that came with this set. It has a little different pattern to it, but the same style. I have added a new pair of nylons. Cissy herself is very clean and has no odors, cracks, stains or chews. She has had a small repair done to a 1/4 split in the crotch seam. It is very thin, but I was able to get some bonding material inside the split. She has some small scratches on her back and a couple on her buttocks. She has a couple of faint smudge type stains on her upper arms. She is newly restrung to head and arms. Her arms are a nice match and have no rips or tears in the socket area. She has earring holes. She has had new blush and matte sealer applied. Her lips and brows are repainted. Her eyes have full lashes and they have been reset. Her hair is clean and retains it’s original curls.
