Cost likely lower than listed! Rarely, if ever, do you find twins of this toddler for sale! I’ve decided it’s time to list my doll collection. Both dolls have clear, flirty, follow-me, with original long, curly lashes. Their hair is blonde, straight and shiny. They are soft & hard vinyl with criers in their backs (neither works). They are walkers but I have no clue how walkers work, but I assume the left arm is involved somehow. So cute, they will be missed! Timmie #1 (in pink/lighter brows) can stand alone but it’s a bit precarious (I suggest stands for both) Her arms stay in place when posed shoulder height & higher. Lower than that, they slowly slip down, but still very posable (see photos) Her face has a couple of minor (permanent) smudges. Timmie #2: (in blue/dark brows) can stand alone, but a bit precarious (stand suggested) Her arms are tighter than Timmie #1 and can hold poses at all heights. This is a very rare what I believe is an Alexander-kins doll by Madame Alexander made in 1953 or 1954. The outfit is an original Madame Alexander angel outfit.. See attached photo from catalog. The doll may not be an Alexander Kin’s doll but may be a Wendy-Kins doll. Her eyes open and close when you put her down but she doesn’t seem like a walker because when I move the limbs her head doesn’t move. So this is where it is throwing me off. If you have any information regarding the exact type of doll that would be helpful. However I know that both the outfit and the doll are rare. 14 Vinyl & Cloth Baby Doll. “Shelf Doll” in never-played with condition. It is with a heavy heart that I’ve begun to list my entire doll collection. I turn 70 soon. The thought of my babies being tossed into a blue bin one day sickens me, so I’m doing right by them now! That said, here’s the scoop on this beauty from 1952 the year of my birth! Another rare-to-find, all-original doll, Rosebud has soft vinyl limbs, molded hair, cloth. Kapok-filled body of finest muslin, & gorgeous, clear blue, working, sleep eyes. Her high-color is original & amazing! And her crier works & is loud! Plus she wears her original tailored, blue & white check coat over a lace-trimmed organdy dress-slip, a tailored, lace-trimmed bonnet that matches her coat. Suede tie shoes, underpants & vintage (not original) thigh-high stockings. From Madame Alexander Dolls On Review by Marjorie Uhl, pg 47. This doll is from 1952. One of my Alexander books states that this doll won the Fashion Academy Award medal! I replaced her shoe ties today as one was tied with fraying yarn. Her bonnet had (not original) fraying elastic so I replaced it with white satin ribbons today. Her darling soft leather-suede shoes show aging/rubs/cracking (see photos) but are sturdy. I don’t think it’s necessary. Also – I didn’t not entire remove her clothing for the photos as I’m horrible at bow-tying & believe the sash has never been untied! The dress has the Mme Alex label. VTG Madame Alexander Composition Pinkie Pinky Baby Doll 16. This beautiful doll is in wonderful shape and wears his original clothing, gown, underdress and bonnet. He does a small hole in one sleeve, and a couple of marks on his clothes that look like rust spots. I have not tried to remove them. The spots are pictured except for one on his underdress. He has one shoe and his original diaper. His dress is light pink and trimmed with lace and ribbons, as is his bonnet. His eyes open and close easily and they are not cloudy.
