Madame Alexander Dolls

Here is the beautiful 18 Giselle, this is a very rare doll from Madame Alexander. She is in beautiful condition except she has to be restrung. Her torso has gone away from her hips. I don’t do any of that work anymore because of my arthritis most Doll collectors know how to do it, if not, there are many people out there who repair and restring dolls. She comes in her original box, has her flower bouquet and her tags. Her clothing and hair and everything is beautiful, clean and lovely. Like I said, she just needs to be RESTRUNG.

Cute little Alexander-kins, #564 from the 1956 catalog, “Wendy Loves Ballet Lessons”. Fuschia color, one-piece ballerina costume with ribbon and eyelet fastening, is tagged “Alexander-kins”. 8 hard plastic body marked ALEX on back, bent knee walker. Red hair, styled in a flip with bangs, is still neatly coiffed. Blue sleep eyes work well. She wears light peach ballet slippers with pink ribbon ties. Legs are a bit loose, but she is posable and walking mechanism still works. Trunk of body has some faint pink staining that appears to be from her costume. Missing flower at bodice. Floral headpiece, while vintage, appears to be replaced. Comes with custom stand. Contact me through the listing, and I will be glad to supply additional photos or answer any questions.

Here is a beautiful Giselle from the Madame Alexander Ballerina Collection. I do not believe this doll has been displayed, however I can not definitively prove this. The head and torso are connected, but the legs still need to be strung to the torso which also lends to my theory that this Giselle has never been displayed. 1 clear plastic accessories bag still attached to box (sealed and contains ribbon with gold charm and bouquet of flowers). Doll is in amazing condition and will come with the original box. The tissue paper is missing and the box has a few dents and wear normal box wear. Best offers considered and highly encouraged.
