Offered here is an exquisite blonde Madame Alexander Binnie Walker doll, with working walker mechanism. She stands 18 inches tall and has her ORIGINAL blonde wig in its ORIGINAL set, with tight curls and short bangs. She is dressed in a striped vintage day dress with fitted waist and large self bow at the neckline. This style was very popular in the late 1940s and early 1950s. The dress has cap sleeves and two buttons at the back; the skirt flares nicely. She has a beautiful pair of vintage panties with tiny satin bows and lace trim, and a vintage cotton slip also edged in vintage lace. She wears vintage cream colored satin ankle strap shoes that snap, with vintage nylon ankle socks. She has a lovely vintage cream and black straw bonnet; this hat is trimmed in black grosgrain ribbon and has black grosgrain ties. It features vintage Forget-me-not fabric flowers on each side of her head where the ties attach. It is a beautiful vintage shape, with a slightly squared off brim in the front and fits her head perfectly. I have added a pair of white nylon wristlet gloves, trimmed in lace, and a little brown leatherette suitcase which opens and closes with a snap. She is all ready for a trip to come to your house or for a visit to the big city! This lovely doll has the wistful Binnie Walker face, with rosebud lips, rosy cheeks, open and close eyes, brush lashes and painted brows. She is hard plastic and clearly very durable. There a few line scuffs around her midriff from play or a doll stand — shes came to me this way — but other than this is is superb condition for her age. I take great care to wrap and pack my dolls so that they do not move around in transit. No props in the photos are included — only the dressed doll and her accessories. My home is SMOKE FREE and PET FREE and she has been kept in a darkened doll room on display and never played with. She shows no sign of any sun fading and has no odor. She would make a wonderful addition to your collection of vintage Madame Alexander dolls. Let me present to you, the serious Alexander collector, a rare & hard to find BINNIE WALKER. She is mint in my opinion. She is all original right down to her shoes & socks. Her red taffeta dress is vibrant & crisp. Her original nautical felt jacket has all the original golden buttons, anchors & stars just like new. Binnie’s head turns when she walks as it should. Her rooted skull cap is thick and in original set. She’s even still wearing her original felt sailor styled hat. Not sure if the pompom was originally red but it is rather pink now. I have not undressed this doll but added a couple photos of hip joint and bottom side. This may be a once in a lifetime chance to own a 24 Binnie Walker in this condition. Vintage 1950′s Madame Alexander Binnie Walker doll. Original tagged organdy dress. Presented here is a vintage 1950′s Madame Alexander Binnie Walker doll in original tagged dress. The doll is 24, hard plastic with working walker. She has a beautiful Cissy face, nice coloring, thick upper lashes, painted lower lashes, bright light blue-green eyes (they match the dress). Her hair is auburn with bangs and most of the original curl. The doll is in excellent vintage condition, minor finish wear in the joints. She is marked; “Alexander” on the back of the head. The dress is lovely rayon/ silk organdy, it is a pale blue-green color with lace trim and original sash, cute puff sleeves, tagged. Her petticoat is adorable, original, pale blue taffeta, it is one piece and has a hoop in the skirt with a ruffled flounce. She has matching panties, they have some newer elastic woven in the waistband. She also wears her original rayon socks and flocked black ankle strap shoes. The dress has some small repairs and flaws to one side of the skirt, see the last photo, but overall the clothing is all in good vintage condition. The listing is for the doll and clothes shown only. Come Have Tea with Cissy! Cissy is dressed in a rose-hued tea formal for a delightful afternoon with You! Its a bit big on her and has some minor flaws, but Cissy is clever and pinned it so it fits! Shes not going to pass up the perfect dress just because it might be a bit big. Her vintage undies are authentic to the time-period. The satin bra is very nicely and cleverly mommy-made, while her garter belt is machine made, although rather stretched in the elastic area and has aged in color over the years. Her silky thigh-high nylons are perfect with her vintage and period-authentic Cissy-styled high-heeled sandals. The elastic is relaxed over the toe area but they perfectly compliment her undies and dress. A vintage faux pearl necklace completes her beautiful ensemble. She is as ready as roses for tea! Cissys golden blond Saran wig is authentic to this time period and looks darling on her. It may be an MA original Cissy wig, but Ive had it for so long, I honestly cant authenticate it. I have woven a vintage pink satin ribbon through it and attached vintage flowers. The wig retains its original pins and is in a beautiful factory-original set. Cissys head is a Binnie that was placed upon a more modern Cissy body. Her arms are straight plastic, not vinyl, and do not bend, but her legs are jointed and do. Her clear blue eyes open and shut, she has all of her black brush lashes, although the eyelids do have rubs in the paint, and there is a nick above one eye. There is also a nick above her cute little nose. Her face paint looks good, but the cheek blush is faint and her face is pale. Please look at the photos carefully to assist you in your purchasing decision. If you need more photos, please ask. Like most of us, Cissy isnt perfect and comes with the aforementioned imperfections. She IS 70, but she looks fabulous! Would you expect her to look any less? She displays beautifully and will be a lovely addition to any Cissy collection. Cissys photographic props are not included in this listing, only Cissy and her lovely ensemble.
