This doll truly is stunning to look at. Her tagged twilight Blue taffeta dress is crisp and the collar and sleeve cuffs are still rather white! SHe has a cute little matching taffeta belt that fastens with a pearl belt loop. Her pink velvet hat is darling and ties with a matching pink satin bow at her chin. Her socks are fairly wite, she carries a black and gold hat box with original cardboard Binnie tag, and curlers and comb still on the original card. Her coloring is beautiful (cheeks, eyebrows, eye-shadow, lips etc,) Her Eyes are piercing blue with thick, full lashes. Her curls are still shiny and tightly in original curled set. Her original “Binnie” box and original tissue is still in fairly nice condition, but the box does have some light age wear and age staining. This sweet doll is a Texas Hurricane Harvey survivor! She came to me in her original outfit, with her original dress and panties, hat and socks and shoes. Her original shoes were very worn and in poor condition so I have replaced them with new pink side snap shoes. I have also added a pink satin ribbon at her waist to match her outfit. This is a gorgeous RARE brunette Big Binnie Winnie Walker by Madame Alexander, in her original outfit. Her cotton panties are full at the hip and snap at the waist, and have gathered ruffles at the leg; her cotton slip is a dress slip, full length under her dress and has lovely lace trim. NOTE: When I got her, her hat had many small moth holes in it from being in her prior owner’s storage. I turned her hat inside out, as the pink had faded; and carefully hand-stitched vintage velvet fabric flowers to her hat — everywhere she had a moth hole. This is her original hat from the Madame Alexander outfit, with its original black fabric ties; but I simply added very vintage cotton and velvet forget me not and other flowers to it to match her dress. See photos for how it looks now. I think it turned out quite nice. This doll has a gorgeous face, with her original dark brunette wig, with curls in their original set under her bonnet or hat. She has big blue green eyes, red lips, rosy cheeks and a sweet upturned nose. Her coloring is quite even, with exception of her right arm which is slightly lighter in color than her left. It is not obvious though as you can see in the photos. I have added black fingerless, hand crocheted gloves to her outfit; these gloves were made for me in Canada by a very talented seamstress. They fasten at the wrist with tiny pearls and fit her perfectly. This is a very old “Walker Doll” but her walker mechanism works just fine; when you move her legs her head turns from side to side. No props in the photos are included; the doll stand is not included. My home is SMOKE FREE and PET FREE. This is Binnie Walker from 1955 with the Cissy Face. She is 18′ tall, made of hard plastic except for her vinyl sleeved arms just like Cissy. She has bent knees. She has beautiful blonde hair, gorgeous blue sleep eyes with full lashes, perfect rosy cheeks and red lips. She has blushing on her hands and knees. She is wearing a tagged lovely pink dress, knit sweater with flowers and rhinestones, pink silk and tulle hoop slip, pink satin panties with lace trim, pink and white rayon socks and black patent leather center snap shoes with fuzzy bottoms. She has her hatbox with curlers and comb and gold medallion. She is All Original and is in Near Mint Condition. There are 2 marks on the back of her dress that I have pictured for you. This beautiful 1953 Madame Alexander doll is Binnie Walker. She was stored away and never played with. She is pre-Cissy, but has the same face as Cissy. She has no flaws, and has beautiful facial coloring, her blue eyes open and close freely, and she has thick lashes, with none missing. Her walking mechanism is in excellent condition. Her original gown is wonderful. It is violet in color and made of satin and layers of netting, with sprigs of old flocked flowers. Her straw hat is trimmed with velvet ribbon and flowers, and she carries a wonderful beaded bag. She also has on her panties, nylons, flocked shoes, a pearl necklace and bracelet. This a beautiful vintage Binnie Walker for your collection. She is 23 tall. She is wearing her tagged Binnie Walker outfit. It has no stains, but the sleeves on the jacket and the hat have dust marks and it needs to be washed. The seam at the shoulders is also pulled as shown. The rest of the outfit and the doll are near mint condition. She has no stains, cracks or odors. Hair is in the original set and is full. She has fantastic color through out with nice rosy cheeks and knees. Nice clear eyes with all lashes. The lady never played with her dolls. I will say that her head is loose, I did restring it as it was off, but it just does not have that original factory rubber band. Her knees are also a bit loose. They don’t want to stay standing up. Lastly, the eyes only sleep with assistance. The box is okay. It is missing a lot of the side pieces on the lid and the bottom has wear. It is marked Binnie so it is the correct box.
