Madame Alexander Dolls

I have a rare Vintage Madame Alexander Cissy Fur Coat in like new condition with its original tag made in 1957. It comes with a Madame Alexander box which is not for this outfit. The box says Red and number 21-40 and is in fair condition with all over age spots on the front and back. MY DOLL is NOT INCLUDED in this listing as she is just modeling this is hard-to-find extra boxed outfit. All the pieces in this ensemble look like they were never played with, just a little wrinkled from storage. It comes with the coat, hat and muff which are light beige in color, the boots are more white in color, and the lining of the pieces are a pink colored taffeta material The coat closes at the neck with one snap closure and has a corsage of flowers on the coat by the neck which are in perfect condition and measures 11-3/4 from the back of the neck down to the bottom of the coat. The boots are a little large and measure approx. 2-5/8″ in length and 1-1/4″ across the toe area and have a flat sole. The hat and muff have a gold cord attached to each item. I did not put the hat over her head as I did not want to mess her hair, so I just left the cord in the back of her head when modeling. Please ask any questions and thanks for looking!

Featured here is a limited edition doll, one of only 200 Equestrian Cissy Dolls made in 2002. She will come to you in her original riding outfit, with riding jodhpurs, boots, brocade vest, lovely lace blouse, and sophisticated black wool lined hat with black veil. This hat color does not photograph well; it is a wonderful deep very dark black and my camera flashes to make it look charcoal grey. It is most certainly NOT grey — but a very rich JET black — with one smaller bow on the hatband and the large bow tied at back of the hat. The black net veil is quite full with small black dots, and falls nicely over the rim of the hat and her eyes. This doll has a twist waist, jointed knees, but not jointed elbows. Her price has been reduced accordingly. NOTE: This doll is 20 inches tall without her hat on, and 21 inches tall with her hat on. This is an elegant, rare 2002 Limited Edition doll in a very unique outfit; the riding khaki pants have the inner lining that riding pants have; the boots have real metal back zippers to facilitate getting them on and off. I have never undressed this doll or removed any of her clothing or accessories — except her hat for this photo session. Her wonderful black hat with black net veil and black bows has the Madame Alexander blue and white satin tag sewn into its lining. This doll has a gorgeous face, with her tanned skin color and deep red lips and rosy cheeks; she looks flushed from a morning ride. She has dark lashes and dark painted brows and lovely light grey green eyes that catch the light beautifully. At the corner of her eyes, her eye makeup is drawn up in a point, to accent her exotic eyes. She has tiny stud white pearl earrings in her ears. Her wonderful dark reddish chestnut hair is drawn back in a riding style bun, with hairnet; she has a seamed center part on the top of her head. I have added a pair of light lavender gloves to her outfit. This doll would make a wonderful addition to your collection or be a lovely gift. My home is SMOKE FREE and PET FREE. This doll has been kept in a darkened doll room and shows no sign of any sun fading. No props in the photos are included in this listing, only the dressed doll with her accessories and her metal doll stand so she will be ready to display on arrival.
