Up for sale is a Vintage Madame Alexander Cissy doll. This Stunning Cissy is one of the Most Beautiful Brunettes I have seen in a long time. She is All Original and is in Pristine Condition. Cissy is 20 tall, made of hard plastic with vinyl sleeved arms and is jointed at the neck, shoulders, elbows, hips and knees. She has exceptional crystal blue eyes with full lashes, perfect high color rosy cheeks, red lips and blushed hands and knees. She has no cracks or splits and no signs of play-wear. She is an Exquisite All Original Girl dressed in an Absolutely Stunning Creation by the Extraordinary Recreations by Ann. Tea-length dress sewn in a soft embroidered lavender with a scalloped hem, bodice is lined in lavender taffeta and white organdy and closes in the back with 4 square snaps. Lavender rhinestones sprinkle down the front of the bodice and the front of the full skirt. Underneath is a lavender taffeta tulle and rick rack trimmed petticoat and lavender taffeta French lace trimmed panties. A lavender satin sash with flowers is added to the front of the dress. Cissy also wears a lovely lavender hat trimmed with flowers, tulle and rhinestones by Richards Originals, new seamed stockings, silver strappy heels and white gloves. A gorgeous, high color doll that comes with her box and wrist tag. There are no stains, rubs or scratches. Blue sleep eyes with all their lashes. Hair is still in factory set, original flower head band. Vinyl jointed arms at shoulders and elbows. Jointed waist and ankles. Both arms have has some dirt from storage. Will save the cleaning for the new owner. Clothes are crispy clean, no stains or holes, tagged Alexander Elise. Bottom of box is in good condition, no tears, still has some of the original pink tissue. Box lid has been tapped in all corners. Welcome to my auctions! Cissy is 20 tall with hard plastic body and soft vinyl jointed arms.. She has a deep brunette wig, pulled back into a cluster of curls with 2 two small curls on her forehead. She is an infused doll with high cheek color, one stroke brows, full lashes, green eyes and red mouth. Her outfit is rare to find. It consists of a crisp gold lace skirt, with red flower corsage on side of waist, green jersey top, gold belt, and rhinestone pin. Under the skirt is a crisp yellow half slip with tulle ruffle and yellow panties. She wears full long nylon stockings and has gold high heels with red velvet flowers. Three things I have to mention. She came to me without a belt, so I made one for her. Her shoes are reproduction, but I have her original shoes and will send them with her. The elastic was loose, so that is why I replaced them. Also the blouse she is wearing is different from most Cissy tops. The closure in back is different too and old bias tape was used on the inside of the blouse. I presume it is correct. I got the doll from the original owner years ago and presume she is factory original. I have nothing to compare her to, as this outfit is seldom seen. This Cissy has been expertly reblushed. She has a full, pretty wig; however, she has a comb-over on top of her head. Her body is sound, no cracks, stains, or odors. Her stringing is good. Her one problem is fading of her eyes. They have full lashes and work properly. Check her pictures to see how she looks. She’s wearing a peasant-style black dress, hose, and black plastic mules. She has a hard plastic jointed body with vinyl jointed arms. She has brunette hair in the original style, pulled up on top and at the back of the neck in curls. Sparkling green eyes, nice hair lashes, painted under lashes. She has nice coloring, coral mouth, pierced ears with. Earrings and a fabulous rhinestone necklace with clasp. Marked on the back of the head “ALEXANDER” under the hair. Good strings, she holds a pose well. She is wearing her original ivory color wedding gown with a full circle skirt, nice body, it has a taffeta skirt with tulle over skirt and a lace bodice, light pink satin sash that ties in the back. It is adorned with silk and flocked flowers at the waist that match her bouquet and crown. The veil is original Cissy with a fabulous floral head piece. There are some small holes in the tulle skirt near the bottom, mostly this falls in the folds of the skirt and is not readily. It does show age. The long veil has tears in the net, there is a repair to the side and several small hoes at the top. Underneath she wears a crisp white taffeta slip with net flounce, and. The shoes are ivory satin. Beautiful 1956 polish cotton polkadot dress. Cissys wearing it so beautifully with a vintage CanCan slip, vintage panties, vintage seamed stockings, The dress is not mint but it is a really good condition it has a small stain looks like small amount of yellowing, which I have not tried to get out and you dont notice it on the doll its hidden in the pleats. Other than that the dress is an excellent condition. Her body has no splits or cracks. Her nose is missing a tiny pit of paint. She does have a small mark on ankle and missing a little paint between thighs. That is not a crack in her crotch its just a darker line where the paint has worn off. Marked on the back of the head “ALEXANDER” under the hair. Good strings, she holds a pose well. She is wearing her original “Garden Party” dress, it is yellow chiffon with a floral pattern, full circle skirt. Underneath she wears her yellow taffeta petticoat plus a crisp white taffeta slip with net flounce, matching yellow. Panties, the elastic has lost some stretch and some has been added, some shadows on the yellow petticoat. The shoes are original pink strappy. The hat is original vintage 50s natural straw.
