Madame Alexander Dolls

1955 Alexander Cissy doll , 21″ tall, hard plastic doll, jointed elbows and knees, high heel feet, sleep eyes and wigged, clothes are tagged “Cissy. 1955 was the first year that Cissy dolls were produced. The petticoat identifies this doll as being from that y ear. The later Cissy’s did not have the upper arm joint. The lovely deep red “Tag” dress, decorated with rhinestones, and the doll itself, other than restringing, are in mint condition. She has been checked at the joints are there is no damage except for a minor crack on the leg near one knee. The eyes open and close. Her hair is in it’s original set with original hair clips, rosy cheeks, all of her eye lashes, beautifully painted. The shoes are damaged as you can see in the pictures. Original box not included. She built custom cabinets that hung on the walls (in a smoke free environment) all around our house in order to keep each doll in pristine condition, over 500 dolls in all. She saved almost every box and even just stored hundreds never removing them from their boxes even once. Now it is time for her to simplify her life and is looking for ways to sell her collection.
