This Cissy dress from 1955, has not been washed, and the fabric has nice body and vibrant color. Its only issue is “flea bits” in the organdy of the left sleeve and some scattered “flea bits” on the skirt, mainly on the right front up toward the waist. Have no idea what caused this, but this was the condition when I bought it. As with most of my Cissy dresses, this one was stored and never used by me for display. Its snaps are secure (3), and the little black velvet bows on the shoulders are in very nice condition. The tag is in excellent condition. The dress has black belt loops and probably had a belt at one time. It now has a silky satin ribbon to tie in a bow at the waist. The skirt is ultra full. The sleeve elastic has relaxed slightly, but they still have nice puff. I have photo’d the flaws. In one pic, there is a mark showing near the hem on the skirt that is actually a little crease that needs to be pressed out. The “flea bites” on the organdy sleeve are really enhanced by the camera, but do not stand out on the doll. Even with these imperfections, it is still a lovely dress to have in your Cissy’s wardrobe. If you have questions or want additional photos, please le me know. My home is non-smoking, and there are no odor issues with the dress. The Cissy doll modeling is not included. I have reddish blonde hair with my original Madame Alexander barrettes. I have no issues in my body and can hold a pose and stand on my own when wearing my shoes! I have lots of color in my face–blushed cheeks, rosy lips and a peachy color to my face and flesh. My wig is nicely set but could use a gentle brushing and some loving care to be as gorgeous as it could be! I’m worth it. VINTAGE MADAME ALEXANDER 15 HARD PLASTIC LITTLE WOMEN MEG IN PINK CHECK DRESS. This is a pretty vintage Madame Alexander doll from the Little Women Series. From my books, she appears to be from around 1955. She does have the small closed hands that are on the older dolls. She is in good condition with her original dress, slip, pantaloons and replaced shoes. Her dress is not mint but good. Pantaloons are stained, as shown. I think it is her original hair bow. Body is in good shape with a few minor scratches and eyes open and close just fine. She has been displayed in a smoke free home. Please wait for me to send an invoice. The doll is a straight leg nonwalker, heavy plastic. She has a triple stitch blonde tosca wig and her stringing is good. She has pretty overall body tone with no splits. Her face has very nice coloring. Her outfit includes a matching bonnet with original ties, a tagged romper with leg elastic very good and has square snaps in the back to close. The Jumper has three white original buttons in back. Top stitch white velveteen with fuzzy soles and have side snaps in good condition. This item will be insured. I messed up on the wording earlier.
