This is a nice Madame Alexander Cissy doll from the 1950s. Body has no cracks except one st the top of the leg that you cant see really unless you peek inside the torso. The Cissy files book refers to it as Diamond Quilt. This dress came in pink or blue, the blue being the harder to find. The original metal snaps are intact. Condition with no repairs. There are NO stains, marks or tears on the dress. THE PALE BLUE ORGANDY PUFF SLEEVES AND THE MATCHING SASH ARE NOT FADED. The elastic in the sleeves is not stretched. Maybe just what you need to complete or upgrade your vintage Cissy outfit. The dress is much prettier in person then the actual photos. This outfit contain a polished cotton dress with a very nice sheen with a unique pattern of pale blue and green flowers. It has a square neckline, pale blue organdy puff sleeves and a matching sash at the. That ties in the back as a large bow. The skirt is lined in a net style. A pair of pale blue elastic heels with pink bottoms and a faux pearl necklace and matching earrings. The dress and bow are slightly wrinkled from storage. The bottom of the heels has light. Vintage 1950s Madame Alexander Cissy doll. Hard plastic with vinyl jointed arms. Strawberry/ honey blonde wig, in original curls. Green/ amber sleep eyes. Rhinestone earrings and necklace. White strappy high heels. Pillbox hat, lace covered satin with pink silk flowers. Presented here is a beautiful vintage Madame Alexander Cissy doll. She has a hard plastic jointed body with vinyl jointed arms. She has strawberry/ honey blonde hair in the original style with lovely curls, the hair is pined in place. Sparkling Green-amber sleep eyes that open and close, hair lashes, painted under lashes. She has nice coloring, red mouth, pierced ears with. Drop earrings and a beautiful rhinestone. Marked on the back of the head “ALEXANDER” under the hair. Good strings, she holds a pose well. She is wearing a custom handmade replica of the 1950′s. Pants suit set, black velvet pants, pink sash and lace jacket with rhinestone buttons. No damage, very finely made exactly as Madame Alexander. Shoes are original off-white plastic strappy high heels, one heel strap is broken, I have not tried to removed these as they can be hard to get back on. The pillbox hat is vintage, wired inside, satin covered with re. Lace and tiny pearls, pink silk flowers and leaves adorn the side. This Cissy has been expertly reblushed. She has a full, pretty wig; however, she has a comb-over on top of her head. Her body is sound, no cracks, stains, or odors. Her stringing is good. Her one problem is fading of her eyes. They have full lashes and work properly. Check her pictures to see how she looks. She’s wearing a peasant-style black dress, hose, and black plastic mules. He is very rare. He has a few issues His hat is not original to him. He came without a hat so i manage to fine him a tricone that fits him very nice. Its made out of velveteen Next his boots disintegrated. He has on what is left. I glued a new bottom on which doesn’t fit the best but gives a good look. Next his tights stained his lower body. His tights are not included You dont see when he is dressed. He wears an original camel colored coat with original gold buttons on the cuffs and coat and on the back where the coat panels attached to each other gold silk lining with two side buttons and five stitch buttonholes. She has a hard plastic jointed body with vinyl jointed arms. She has brunette hair in the original style, pulled up on top and at the back of the neck in curls. Sparkling green eyes, nice hair lashes, painted under lashes. She has nice coloring, coral mouth, pierced ears with. Earrings and a fabulous rhinestone necklace with clasp. Marked on the back of the head “ALEXANDER” under the hair. Good strings, she holds a pose well. She is wearing her original ivory color wedding gown with a full circle skirt, nice body, it has a taffeta skirt with tulle over skirt and a lace bodice, light pink satin sash that ties in the back. It is adorned with silk and flocked flowers at the waist that match her bouquet and crown. The veil is original Cissy with a fabulous floral head piece. There are some small holes in the tulle skirt near the bottom, mostly this falls in the folds of the skirt and is not readily. It does show age. The long veil has tears in the net, there is a repair to the side and several small hoes at the top. Underneath she wears a crisp white taffeta slip with net flounce, and. The shoes are ivory satin. For your consideration is a pretty auburn-haired Madame Alexander Cissy doll from circa 1956-57. She is the painted version and is in very good vintage condition. The front is white lace with blue trim; the back is done in light blue nylon tricot. The snaps look exactly like the ones used on Jane Miller clothing, but there is no tag indicating that it is from Jane Miller. It is factory made, though, by some doll clothing company active during the Cissy era. Has a sweet little rosette at the bustline. The blue ribbon straps show some wear and seem a little long, but that allows the teddy to not be too tight in the crotch. The rest of the teddy is excellent. Cissy is wearing a pair of Doll Secrets “Better than Vintage” seamed stockings and vintage blue Dolshoe high heels with rhinestone detail. These shoes are very hard to find in blue. She is also wearing pearl drop earrings and a pearl necklace with box clasp. Cissy is 20 inches tall and is made of hard plastic with vinyl arms. She has joints at the head, shoulders, elbows, hips and knees. There are no splits or cracks in her hard plastic or any issues with her vinyl save a very small pin prick on her right forearm. I think this is visible in one of the pictures if you enlarge it. Cissy has some original blush remaining on her hands and knees and very little, if any, on her face. However, the background color on her face is so nice I never wanted to have blushing added. Her eyes are predominantly blue with maybe a “tad” of green. Her brush eyelashes are the original ones. Her eyes open and close well, but if she has been in a lying position for any length of time, she might require a little shake to open them. Her wig has had a professional styling in the past, and she has developed some fly-aways over time. If you removed the present tie that is in place and re-tied the curls, you could bring in some of the loose hairs. There is a little spot on the left side of her wig where just a little bit of the wig cap is showing. The auburn color is such a nice shade. Her stringing is good; joints work well; arms are tight. Cissy has some neck rubs that I would call “light” and have included a picture. They are pretty much all the way around, but have never been an issue with me. Just be aware that they are there and may be able to be removed. There are also the typical light rubs at the inside of her legs at the top. Hardly any painted Cissy dolls escaped developing those. This Cissy is very easy on the eyes and would look great in any tagged outfit or otherwise. She even looks good on display as she is. MADAME ALEXANDER CISSY DOLL IN TAGGED ALL ORIGINAL OUTFIT 1956!! Doll is in immaculate condition. She has no splits or cracks whatsoever and shes been cleaned inside and out she is fantastic. Cissy enters the ballroom and a dramatic shimmering satin gown with a cascade side drape. Underneath her gown is a beautiful Petticoat from a newer Madame Alexander dolls dating from the 1960s. Dress bodice is lined in cotton organdy. This is the beautiful blue shade. She has on silvery blue shoes with nylons, rhinestone bracelet, necklace and ring. Shes carrying her original hat box.
