Her original dress is tagged, shoes replaced. I see no stains on the doll or dress. Vintage Madame Alexander pink and white striped Cissy doll dress. It has fading on both sides and on the back left. No stains or holes. Back dean needs a few more stitches where it has opened us a bit. I dont believe this has ever been laundered; cotton feels crisp. Vintage 1950s Madame Alexander Cissy doll. Hard plastic with vinyl jointed arms and legs. Arms bend and the elbow and shoulder and the legs pivot at the knee and body. Tosca wig, in original style pulled back in curls with. Blue-green sleep eyes which do close completely. Pink and white striped patterned dress with rose and leaf and slip. No earrings or necklace. Black high heels with pink straps and rose bow. Taffeta petticoat and satin panties. Presented here is a beautiful vintage Madame Alexander Cissy doll. She has a hard plastic jointed body with jointed arms and legs. The head does not turn. She has tosca hair in the original style with lovely curls pulled to the back. Sparkling blue-green sleep eyes that open and close fully, nice hair lashes. She has very good coloring and red lips. She has good strings and holds a pose well. The arms are jointed at the elbow and shoulder and the legs bend at the knee and body. All cleanly move as they should without catching or loss of hold. She is wearing her original Madam Alexander Tagged striped cotton dress with short puff sleeves. Underneath she wears a still crisp taffeta slip with net flounce, satin. There is a run in one of the stockings which is pictured. The shoes are the original black. High heels with pink straps. Beautiful 1956 polish cotton polkadot dress. Cissys wearing it so beautifully with a vintage CanCan slip, vintage panties, vintage seamed stockings, The dress is not mint but it is a really good condition it has a small stain looks like small amount of yellowing, which I have not tried to get out and you dont notice it on the doll its hidden in the pleats. Other than that the dress is an excellent condition. Her body has no splits or cracks. Her nose is missing a tiny pit of paint. She does have a small mark on ankle and missing a little paint between thighs. That is not a crack in her crotch its just a darker line where the paint has worn off. This listing is for a vintage Madame Alexander Cissy doll with hard plastic jointed body with vinyl arms, open & close eyes, body marked Alexander. She’s wearing a vintage red & white striped pinafore dress with small buttons, elastic waist panties, vintage black high heel fashion shoes with elastic strap, a pair of vintage hard plastic sunglasses with hinged arms (marked France Depose), and woven hat with red band and elastic strap. I won’t sell any part of this separately. Dress no longer has its label but there’s a teeny bit of cloth remaining from the tag on back near the collar. CONDITION: These are vintage items. Doll needs restoration on her leg reattached, her right eyelash looks like it needs work/fixing, right leg slightly turned, feels like a spring is pulling it that way? This is just how I got her. In the mean time I put a piece of tape on the metal bar and pushed it into the slot so it stays. Sleeves on the shirt are a bit yellowed, I haven’t tried to clean it. Shoes have rub/wear to the black part from age & play and the elastic is stretched. Normal wear to rest. Again, if you have questions or concerns, please ask before purchasing. Gorgeous 1956 Madame Alexander Cissy doll in her ALL original outfit and looking absolutely marvelous! Cissy gown was designed using a shiny faded shade (on purpose faded) pale pink slipper satin accented using a small jewel circlet at bust area, the dress bodice is lined in cotton organdy. Cissy is wearing her original to this outfit turquoise very big full length slip with attached hoop (after all these years you will find that none of the hoops have stayed round) and matching turquoise nylon panties trimmed in white lace both are in EVC, original MA seamed stockings (no holes or runs), silver crisscross heels are also original to outfit EVC. To complete this beautiful ensemble, Cissy is wearing her (original to outfit) earth tone brown faux fur cape (the vintage cabbage roses were an add-on), lined in a cream color slipper satin (nice and clean inside and out) faux fur and lining are both in EVC, held together with gold elastic. Cissy is wearing her vintage single row of faux pearls necklace, her original pink round shoe box and a VHTF original early MA Cissy tag that still retains some of the old pink string. This 1956 outfit came in 5 variations of faded shades of silver, grey, blue, aqua and pink. This gown is in exceptionally great vintage condition for its many years. There are marks on gowns satin fabric (mostly back area and some rather small spattering throughout). Yet, I must say that with the large volume of material in this gown not all that noticeable. Please expand pictures of gown front and back to view these imperfections, as the pictures are a large part of this listing. Of the 5 shades of this MA Satin Side Drape gown for beautiful Cissy, the faded pink satin gown is considered the most rare and VHTF. Cissy has gorgeous aqua color eyes, full lashes, her hair is as beautiful as the day she came out of the factory (high shine, no hair missing and no discoloration). The 1955 and 1956 Cissy dolls did not wear heavy blush. The early Cissy dolls also did not sport pierced earrings. Cissy came to be prior to pierced earrings. The little sparkles on her ears were a add-on. Cissys body is clean and free of cracks, fractures, tears in rubber arms and there are no bad odors. You can pose Cissy in any way you would like. Please remember Cissy is a vintage doll and when positioning her always keep this in mind. I wrap up all of my items with care and loving hands. I was told she has a lazy eye when she was. Moved, however I have never noticed it. Her hair is in its original up-do. She has glorious red curls cascading from her up-do still in original set. Vintage Madame Alexander Doll 20 Cissy Queen. This is the 1955 version of the Vintage Madame Alexander 20″ Cissy “Queen Elizabeth Doll, honoring her coronation. Cissy has a hard plastic head, and soft vinyl jointed arms. She does show some slight scuffs on her upper arms. Her honey blonde hair is in this original set with a replaced hair net. Her Tiara is missing a couple of jewels but is in wonderful condition overall. She is marked on the back of her head Alexander. There is some some scuffing around her neck and an area on the shoulder. Cissy has painted red lips, blue eyes that open and close freely with full lashes. She does have a couple of small paint chips on her forehead. Just a beautiful face. Cissy’s wonderful brocade gown has some very faint stains and spots along hemline but very faint. She does, however, have light red/pink stains on the back of her gown, bustle area, it may be set in after all these years. I could not lift it with a washing. There is also a spot on back bodice along neckline. Other than that, the gown is just wonderful and tagged Cissy. Her undergarments consist of original matching panties and a wonderful Cissy tagged teddy. Her nylons are perfect. Her hoop slip is nice in original condition. Her gloves are aged but sound with a small hole at the top on the left arm. Her blue sash, “Sash of the Garter” jewels are tarnished and has some fading. She has on original earrings and one bracelet Her head and arms feel secure and she is not cracked on her torso, buttocks or torso. Her knees bend freely. All in all she is a stunning doll to add to your collection. Please look at photos carefully, they are a big part of the description. I also have many more pictures.
