She has been a treasured and very nicely-preserved 11 Madame Alexander Scarlett OHara. TMade in 1939, her composition is in excellent condition. Only slight paint rubs detected at joint s. Her black mohair wig is shiny and soft and as it was when she was brand new. She is original from her wonderful straw hat to her shoes and socks. Her dress has retained vibrant color and has no area that is stained or torn. She has clear blue eyes and her lashes are full. Beautiful hard to find 13 Madame Alexander Wendy Ann with molded hair. She is such a dainty doll, hauntingly beautiful. She is 13 inch and all composition with socket head, short brown molded curly hair, painted blue eyes, closed mouth with bow shaped lips, jointed at the shoulders and hips, and waist. She has been stored all these years, has her original box and wrist tag. She has a wonderful uncrazed face, beautiful coloring. There are a few rubs on the hair from laying in the box. Wendy wears her original tagged pink dotted Swiss dress, undies, and straw hat. Rayon socks and leather shoes complete the outfit. The doll is in beautiful condition, box is fair. Vintage 1940s 21 Composition Alexander Dressed Margaret O’Brien Doll. S he’s a Beauty! Pretty Margaret faced brunette Margaret O’Brien wearing her original coat, hat and dress ensemble. 21 composition Margaret with mohair wig, clear blue sleep eyes and pretty painted features. She has a very nice condition body and pretty face. All composition, jointed at the neck, shoulders and hips. Clear and sparkly blue sleep eyes with thick brush lashes. Highlighting her eyes grey shadow, single stroke eyebrows, and below long. Right cheek blush, and closed rosebud lips. Her wig is all mohair in the typical O’Brien pigtails, held in place with two blue ribbons. Margaret is wearing her original white organdy dotted Swiss dress with blue trim, full skirt and puff sleeves, blue corduroy coat decorated with white pom poms and matching hat. Underneath, eyelet trimmed one piece undies. On her feet nylon socks and black ankle strap snap shoes. MARK: Madame Alexander on her head and back. Because of her size, she will need a 24 box and the Post Office is now charging for volume as well as weight. Rates have gone up. Good, carefully played with condition. Her painted facial features are all in tack and appear original. She has working, clear sleep eyes with thick brush lashes. Her vintage wig is mohair in a nice set although her pigtails look a bit short. Even skin tone with original paint. Fingers and toes have had rough repairs on their tips – see pictures. She has light to moderate over all crazing. Paint wear to joints. No cracks, chips, lifting or flaking paint. Her costume is not tagged but is easily recognized and has working square snaps and serged seams. The coat and hat are in good displayed condition. The set has working snaps, original pom poms and light over all display soil. The dress fabric is thin and fragile. It has small rust stains at the neck, several rips – the one in front shown in pics and additionally several in the back of the skirt. All are about 1/2″ to 1″ in size. The one piece underwear appears to be original. It closes with a safety pin and is in good condition. Her socks and ankle strap, snap shoes are in good condition and look like vintage replacements. Her costume is in fair to good displayable condition. Please read the description and examine the photos – both are an important part of the description. 13 inch Dionne Quintuplet Nurse Doll. This doll has had it’s composition cleaned, and professionally restrung. Doll has all of her fingers and toes. Composition has minimal rubs, chips, and crazing. She is absolutely Stunning! Madame Alexander Composition Bride with the Wendy Ann facial mold. She stands 14 tall, full composition, very light if any crazing, no crack, missing composition, her stringing is good, she displays Elegantly. She wears her complete bridal ensemble, gown which is tagged, long tulle lace trimmed veil with original flowers, back tie lace trimmed panties also her vintage cream rayon socks, cream leatherette side snap shoes with toe bows, one shoe missing the heel, and her original bouquet. Wendy Ann is circa 1930′s-40′s, Her gown is a beautiful soft satin with 2 small bouquets of lily of the valley and leaves, a few vintage 1930′s millinery lily of the valley were added, these are at the bottom front area of her gown, which is trimmed at the hem and wrists with a metallic rope trim. The gown is clean, no rips, holes, tears or stains, closing in the back with 2 square snaps. Her veil is as mentioned a long train style with lace edging, 2 ruffled shorter layers on top with the original lily of the valley flowers and leaves, again some 1930′s vintage ones added, veil has an attached elastic chin strap, not stretched out, the back lower veil train has an area with 3 tiny holes together, and 2 mended areas, see pictures. Wendy Ann has the pensive expression, clear glassene Rootbeer colored sleep eyes, nicely blushed cheeks, rose red pursed lips, lower painted lashes, upper horsehair lashes, smoke gray eye shadow, and thin stroked brows. She wears her close to factory fresh tagged McFlimsey dress. She still wears her hair net; her hair is almost as lovely as the day she was made. Her bonnet may show some wear and the elastic has been replaced. — —-She is a beauty from the original owner’s showcase. This doll was kept in the family of a vast doll collection from the 1930s through 1970s. She is free of odors or major issues; however, both of her eyes show age and are now clouded. Her freckles and long intact molded eyelashes really highlight her pretty face. On both sides of her eyes you will see the beginning of a crack fprming; it really is not noticeable on display until you magnify the photos. You may see a minor amount of crazing on her face and around her left knee. — She was created with real longevity and craftsmanship in mind. Please look at the photos for further visual details on her condition. Her head is well connected and will not droop as she pises. Her arms and legs will not hold a pose. She could someday need restringing. Her eyes are easy open and close. The outfit and socks are vintage replacement and very pretty for display. The pinafor fabric is extremely fragile, but it is free of rips or snags. It is free of stains or blemishes.
