Offered here is a wonderful Madame Alexander Coquette with jointed knees and elbows, dressed as “MAME” from the popular movie of the same name. This doll is from the 2006 Williamsburg Convention and has the Madame Alexander tag bearing this identification sewn into the dragon coat. This doll has jet black hair and blue painted eyes and red lips. She has a tiny black beauty mark on her left cheek. She is dressed in a scandalously short gold brocade sheath with a long full length black velvet coat. The coat has two large dragons embroidered in gold and red on the coat and it is trimmed in gold braid and lined in gold satin. She has gold ball earrings, a black chiffon hair bow and dangling rhinestone and gold ornament. I have added a necklace with two large Asian character charms on it, to add to her attire. On her wrists, she has two wide gold cuff bracelets, one on each arm. Please check the photos carefully, as the long sleeves tend to obscure these wonderful accessories. She is multi-jointed, with joints at the elbows and knees and has a twist waist which all make for fun posing. In the movie, Mame, the lead actress was Rosalind Russell who played an extremely wealthy socialite intent on living life to the fullest. She was known to wear extremely outlandish and provocative outfits and lived in an ultra modern mansion complete with a sweeping spiral staircase from which she make her grand entrance to her parties and soirees. This doll exhibits her wonderful flair for the exotic and provocative. She would make a lovely gift or addition to your collection. This doll is from my personal collection. She has been kept in a darkened doll room in my SMOKE FREE and PET FREE home. She will come to you with the doll stand shown so that she will be ready for display on arrival. I take great care to wrap and pack my dolls so that they do not move around in transit. No props in the photos are included in this listing — only the dressed doll with her accessories. Whether you are a Cissy fan or just a Lilly fan this Doll is a rare opportunity and the embodiment of the Lilly girl. Cissy is one of 25 dolls created as centerpieces for the Cissy luncheon at the 1999 MADC Convention in Orlando. She is mint in box with all original accessories. Ash blonde side part flip wig with a Lilly headband. She has Pink lipstick in a slightly oversized pout and natural makeup. She wears an iconic Lilly maxi sheath dress in the original citrus colors that made Lilly famous. Pattern is of butterflies and daisies. She has matching heels and tote bag. She can change into a darling halter style bikini in a coordinating knit. It fits her well. Underneath her maxi dress she wears a simple pair of panties. Her wrist tag is signed and her beach towel is embroidered. Her box is in very good condition. I can find no issues with this doll. She is in like new condition. Offered here is a brand new, never removed from box, Madame Alexander 8 Wendy doll, style number 73330, called Mary Jane. She is the souvenir doll of the 2019 Madame Alexander Doll Club Convention, held this past June 26-29, 2019 in Winston Salem, North Carolina. Her COA reads 9 of 154. The Convention theme was A Walk in the Garden. All the dolls reflected the theme, and Mary Jane is adorable in her mint green dress. Mary Jane has brunette hair done in smooth bangs and shoulder length curls. I have not removed the doll from the box, so I don’t know the exact style. I did not remove the hairnet, I only pulled it back for the pictures. The doll has dark eyes, red lips and high cheek color. Her costume is a soft green dress with a white Peter Pan collar and short sleeves. The bottom of her dress is embroidered with pretty flowers in shades of pink and yellow with darker green leaves. She is wearing pearlized green shoes, and white socks and white panties, and there is a cute little white straw hat with applied flowers of pink and yellow and a yellow velvet ribbon. There is an elastic band to hold the hat on the doll’s head. Please note: her box got a bit crunched at the edges on the journey home. Her box is not flawed, and will still function as a box, but it is not pristine. Hopefully, you collect dolls, not boxes, and this will make no difference.
