Madame Alexander made these dolls with sleep eyes {working}, the dolls mare marked “ALEXANDER” on the back of the neck AND on the composition body. All of these 14 dolls have socks, shoes, undies, slip s, and different colored organdy see thru dresses. Each doll has a name on her breast with their names and have a head covering cap. The bodies of all these doll have some crazing of the composition, the Marie doll has facial crazing in a severe way, Emelie and Annette have little facial crazing. Antique Madame Alexander Dionne Marie Quintuplet Toddler. Composition head and body, jointed head, shoulders and hips. Sleep eyes, closed mouth, brown wig with blue ribbon. Original quintuplet dress, undergarments, socks and shoes. Lip is a bit worn in one spot, see pictures. Very minor cracking on face and body, one bigger crack on back of one leg (see picture), very little considering age of doll. Three Sweet Dionne Quintuplet 12 Madame Alexander 1930s Toddler Dolls. Dolls all has very rosy cheek, knee and backs of hand color. These lovely dolls have sleep eyes with perfect thick eyelashes as well; original wigs that need a little bit of re-styling. Composition is in overall very good original condition with very faint fine line crazing detected with very close scrutiny. One doll has a 1/2 separation under her chin that is only obvious if you tilt her head backwards. All dolls are marked along their backs, “Madame Alexander” and very faintly along neckline what appears to be “Dionne “. Dolls are very fresh and clean packed away with care over the years. I have up for sale a wonderful vintage original circa 1930s attic fresh set of Dionne Quintuplet 7 dolls. Unmarked as far as I can see , possibly made by Madame Alexander but not sure either way. Not sure if the clothes is original or made later, I tend to think its the latter. The dolls have some age / storage related imperfections as with many dolls of this era that were stored in old attics and such. The outside layer of material has some cracks , chips, losses. ONLY THROW OUT THE BOXES AND PACKAGING AFTER YOU HAVE INSPECTED THE ITEM OR ITEMS AND FIND NO DAMAGE other than what may be noted in the condition report or shown in the pics. SAVE THE BOX AND ALL PACKAGING , PICS OF THE OUTER BOX AND INNER BOX , AND OF THE DAMAGED ITEM WOULD BE REQUIRED. THIS IS PART OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITY WHEN IT COMES TO DAMAGE. DIONNE QUINTUPLETS – COMPLETE SET – COMPOSITION BABIES. WITH WOODEN ANIMAL CHAIRS – - Circa: 1935 – 1945. These dolls are from a smoke free home and has no odors. Oh what fun you can have posing these very cute Dionne Quintuplets. These Quints are babies and the size is 8 inches tall. The size of the animal chairs are appox. 8 inches long by 6 inches high and 4 inches wide. For price reference see page #16 in the book,’Doll Values’ 13th Edition by Linda Edward. This is a complete set of Quints with wooden animal chairs and 5 diapers. They are all original with their original clothes, bonnets, and metal name pins. There has been no repainting as examined by a black light. There is very minor crazing. Annette has a finish/paint chip off her left leg. This is a wonderful set and displays very well – very cute.
