Vintage 1950′s Madame Alexander Cissy doll. Hard plastic with vinyl jointed arms. Stitched part tosca wig, in original style. Garden Party yellow dress with hat. Black strappy high heels. Woven hat with veil and silk flowers. Presented here is a beautiful vintage Madame Alexander Cissy doll. She has a hard plastic jointed body with vinyl jointed arms. Stitched part tosca hair in the original style still in most of the lovely curls, pulled back with curls on top and in the back. Sparkling blue-green sleep eyes that open and close with thick hair lashes, painted under lashes, nice coloring, coral mouth, pierced ears with rhinestone drop earrings and a fabulous rhinestone necklace with working clasp. Marked on the back of the head “ALEXANDER” under the hair. She is wearing her original tagged yellow floral print Garden Party dress. The dress is overall in excellent vintage condition, there are some splits in the upper sleeves which have have been reinforced with a. She has a yellow organdy underskirt with net flounce inside and yellow taffeta panties, they have some newer elastic woven in the waistbands. The black woven hat is laden with yellow and golden silk flowers, covered with fine veil, topped with a pearl head hat pin. The shoes are original black plastic. Strappy high heels, the elastic has lost some stretch. The listing is for the doll and clothes shown only, no stand. The written description is based on my opinion and observation of the item.
