Vintage 1950s 14 Madame Alexander Walking Bride Doll, Margaret Face Tagged Hard Plastic, head turns as she walks, stringing is good, dark blonde hair, blue eyes open and close. Has original veil, flower bouquet, panties (elastic stretched), and shoes. Wig is in very nice condition, does not seem to have been combed or altered, I do note that the front center of her wig looks like it should have some hair in the center, it looks thin in that spot, maybe the veil hat was attached in that area, IDK. Dress is tagged Madame Alexander. Veil is sort of mantilla style with tulle attached to a stiff lace headband, missing most of the flowers. It has a ribbon that is tied in the back of her hair. Veil has 1 pinhead size hole on top (photo). The tulle skirt has two layers in good condition. The top tulle layer has some age related discoloration but that is normal for its age and has a tear in the back where the snaps are and tear at the very bottom of the hemline in that area. The taffeta skirt is in very good condition, 1 layer of tulle over taffeta bodice and tulle puff sleeves. A previous owner added a second taffeta slip that is fastened by a safety pin in the back, it has a tulle hemline, I don’t believe it is original to this bride doll or Madame Alexander but it is there. Beautiful Binnie has high face coloring, no rubs or scratches. Blue sleep eyes with all their lashes. Factory styled wig with lots of curl. Walker mechanism works fine. There is a thin 1.5 seam crack on left side of lower leg which looks to be a factory flaw, as pictured. Original tagged dress is in nice, clean condition. Just a pin head size faded brown dot that is lost in the pleat on front of the dress. Dress and pinafore have all their buttons. Circa 1950′s Madame Alexander 17 hard plastic Margaret face doll wearing a tagged dress. She is a walking doll and her head turns side to side when she is walked. Under her tagged dress she wears a pink taffeta slip, possibly original, and a pair of pink taffeta panties which I made. On her feet she has cotton socks and center snap leatherette shoes. This is a vintage marked hard plastic Madame Alexander Winnie/Binnie walker doll with a Cissy face. The doll measures approximately 18 in height. The walker mechanism works well. The original wig is in good condition. The face paint is good. The lashes are full and the eyes are clear. The HP body is in good condition. The clothing is all original. The red dress is tagged as shown. The coat may be faded, I can’t say for sure as I don’t know what the original color was. The rest of the clothing is in very good condition with no holes or stains. The doll has no unpleasant “sour” HP odors and the doll is from a nonsmoking home. All sales are final. Original 1952 “Walt Disney’s” Snow White by Madame Alexander. She stands 18 inches tall wearing her original outfit, black cascading hair with hair bow. Her deep blue eyes open and close eyes smoothly with full black lashes. Her skin has a beautiful complexion. She has all her undergarments, gold bodice, gold leatherette shoes and socks. She is a Margaret face and was created only in 1952. Her authentic Madame Alexander tag can be found tucked away under her collar. 1951 Madame Alexander Redhead Margaret Face Nina Ballerina 18 Orig. This doll has been very much loved. Her outfit needs a lot of attention, she has some marks on her face and lips, and chin. Her arm does have marks on it that may come off I dont think its chipped. She is wearing thigh highs that are ripped, and has one shoe. Like I said she was loved. This perky and very sweet 14 Alice was produced in 2001. She is one of five dolls I will be listing from Madames 2001 Storybook Collection. Her dress is crisp and like new. Her big eyes are blue and she is made of hard plastic. Her platinum blonde wig is shiny, curly, and full. She is flawless beneath her brand-new-like clothing. She stands nicely on her own.
