We offer for your consideration an undisplayed, or gently displayed, Madame Alexander Kin Wendy 8 doll, from 1955, in the original box. She is a beauty and was rarely removed from her box. The original cardboard insert is included. Her box has a label Baby Angel 480.—-You can see that her box is her original box, and she has made her home in this box for many decades. Her sleep eyes work perfectly. This doll’s highly blushed cheeks contrast beautifully with her pale coloration. Her full unfaded lips are lovely. Her factory fresh, or close to it, hair creates a stunning beauty. — —This doll is one of hundreds of dolls we bought from an adult lady collector downsizing her estate. Please note, she is as close to factory fresh as you can find for a 60 or 70 year-old doll. She does have a minor white spot in the bottom, inside part, of her right eye. I did not see it until I really scrutinized her. It looked like it was part of the natural color of her eye. — Her outfit is complete, intact, and unfaded. Her Alexander-kins tag is intact and bright. Her bright, but shows the most minor wear, halo is attached to her. Her harp is included but not attached. The fabric has become unattached from the inside of her wing. —Her walking mechanism works nicely, stiffly, as her head is turned her feet take tiny steps. Her plastic is free of any splits, issues, or blemishes. — —Her dress, slip, panties, and shoes are all crisp, clean, and displayable. The elastic on her panties have no stretch; the elastic would be crunchy if they were removed. She is tagged Alexander kin. The doll and box were stored in a cool dark room in a pet and smoke free estate and house. You can feel confident with us. — — Her clothing, hair, and body are as close to factory fresh as you can find for a vintage doll of this age. Her coloration is much more bright and blushed than she appears in her photos. Her head holds a pose beautifully. Her legs are well attached. Her arms are well connected, but they do not hold a pose. They may someday soon need restringing. — —- You can see the box is clean and mostly intact. The side shows an indent on the side. It is ripped along the two edges of the top lid. Plus, one part of the lid has a 2 rip along the top edge. It is taped across the one edge. You can see the minor edge wear along the outter edges of the lid and box. We offer for your consideration a gently displayed, vintage 1959, I believe, Cissy doll wearing her stunning untagged Cissy richly brocaded gown. Her face is lovely and even tone with highly blushed cheeks. Her face’s tone is a more tan/yellow color than the remaining torso and limbs. Her lips are full and unfaded. Her molded eyelashes are intact and undamaged. Her eyebrows are nice, dark, and distinct. Her hair is very close to the original style with full dark brunette curls styled into a thick and full wig with no thinning areas. Her hair is pulled back into the original barette. — She is a vision of beauty. Her long dangling rhinestone earrings are intact and really highlight her timeless classic face. The earrings left no sign of green in her ears. Likewise, her matching ring has not discolored her finger at all. Her stringing is nice and tight. Her arms are well connected and pose beautifully. Her legs are well attached. Her head is well attached, but it is probably attached a little too tightly. — —- You can see that she was well preserved and treated like a queen. She is from a pet and smoke free home. Her unclouded eyes are bright, engaging, and she is mostly intact. Her coloring is even in color and very displayable. — —Her two tone eyes are exquisite and framed by totally intact molded eyelashes and lower painted lashes. Her skin tone is light and even throughout all of her face, the torso, her arms, and legs. I can see she is mostly free of splits or cracks in her plastic legs, knees, and hips, and thighs. In one of the photos you will see a small split in the hidden area of her right upper thigh right in the middle, out of view, spot. Her arms are the type of arms used on the 1959 Cissy mold. Her fingertips could possibly use a gentle cleaning. —–This doll is one of hundreds of dolls we bought from an adult lady collector downsizing her estate. Please note, she is as close to very displayable as you can find for a 65 year-old doll. You can see that her formal gown is an incredible and very displayable condition. It is free of snags, holes, or thinning. I did find two discolored spots on the back left sleeve, which is near the snap buttons. I would like to add two additional photos of the spots, as well as the fraction of an inch which could be remended or left as is. It is at the gathered waist area in the back. —-The blue side sash is nicely attached to the mid-bodice of her dress. The sash shows the lightest amount of spotting along the bottom three inches. The four snap buttons in the back are well attached. Her bright white gloves are bright, full, and show no signs of age. Her heels are fresh, displayable, and still enjoy stretchy elastic. Her panties and two slips are most likely replacements. They are not on the level of elegance as the coronation gown. They do have stretchy elastic. Her tulle half slip ties on, and it flares out the skirt on her dress very nicely. Her entire outfit is free of odors, issues, or signs of discoloration. — Her pantyhose are intact and undamaged. Her bright white gloves appear factory fresh, or close to it, the bright white is incredible paired with the deep brocade fabric of her dress. The glitter decorated heels and both of her shoes are close to factory fresh with very stretchy elastic straps. The crisp slip is still bright, very clean, and still has a stretchy elastic waist. The panties appear still bright with stretchy waist. —-She was only rarely removed from her showcase by the original adult collector. The doll was stored in a cool dark room in her pet and smoke free house. Her head poses nicely, and it has a very stable connection. She could possibly use restringing; her stringing is too tight to properly display for many years to come. Her arms are very poseable. Her legs are well connected. —Her dress shows no noticeable signs of age related discoloration; it is incredibly rare and beautiful. I do not see any obvious thinning areas of fabric. —She shows no damage, chews, stains, marks, or splits. I assure you she is complete and whole. –We are consigning hundreds of similar dolls for this owner. Please read entire description Up for your consideration is The Opera coat and dress outfit(I believe it’s from 1956-58) For the 21 Madame Alex. The dress is lovely, bright and crisp dark Aqua satin , it’s tagged and in excellent to n. Mint condition, no damage that I can find, there is a tiny area that looks a little yellowed by the top of the right chest dart, but very faint, and hard to notice… Full skirt, no broken stitches, 4 snaps all good and working, crisp tag. It’s lined with a very fine aqua sheer cotton.. The coat is in good displayable shape, but not mint(see photos), no rips, but there is a stain(bow at collar covers it) and a few sprinkles of tiny stains under the right sleeve area on the side of the coat. The coat overall needs pressing or steaming, there is a silver decoration around the cuffs of the coat.. The shoes are tlc, and need new elastic and repair, there’s one stocking that’s been repaired.. From a non-smoking, pet-free home.. Please ask questions, I’m happy to answer.. G’day from Down Under I’ve been collecting Madame Alexander dolls, and in particular Alexanderkins, for quite a lot of years now. Started with Cissy, Lissy and Maggie, and then moved on to the smaller dolls when space became an issue. Having recently downsized our living arrangements yet again (which means even less room for displaying my dolls) I have struggled with the idea of letting some of them go (I have around 100, many of them pretty close to mint condition) but now I realise it’s time to do this. This one is a 1953 straight leg non walker, brunette triple stitched wig is lovely set, and wearing an outfit that includes pink floral jumper dress with white ric rac, and a one piece romper in pink, also with white ric rac. The bonnet matches the romper fabric, and as you can see, the outfit still has it’s Alexanderkin tag attached. Flutter eyes are blue and move freely. Shoes are top-stitched black with fuzzy soles, as it typical of the kins of this early era. Socks are the typical rayon in white, and the whole outfit comes together beautifully in my opinion. She has a little blush left on her cheeks, her brows are still there, and her under-eye lashes are very dark. She stands on her own without any difficulty; she is well strung and holds a pose well as the first pic shows. Here is a pretty Cissy doll by Madame Alexander who was made in approximately 1960. She stands about 21 tall and is made of hard plastic with the one piece arms that some Cissy dolls have. Cissy is dressed in her pink fluffy tulle gown which is tagged , and she has her original Cissy panties, slip, shoes and gloves. Her hair is a strawberry blonde or reddish color, it seems to be close to the original set with a bar at the top. She has a few issues, there is a split on one of her lower thighs which is reinforced but not repaired, where her neck swivels there is a felt cushion that is not original, please see the pictures, also her vintage pink velvet hair bow is replaced, and the two under layers of tulle are replaced but the top layer showing is the original. The dress is made of cotton organdy with layers of tulle over the organdy which is intact with one reinforced 2 hole inside. Also her flower decorations are original, but her circle rhinestone earrings are replacements to match her originals, she does come with one of her original earrings, which will be sent along in her package. This Cissy doll has really pretty clear eyes with lashes, the lashes have a small nick on one side, please see the photos. Her high heels have light pink elastic which is cut and tied around her ankle to tighten the fit. She makes such a pretty display, the tulle on her dress is so soft, very delicate and beautiful, I believe she is supposed to have a ring and some bracelets, but she has a replaced ring and only one bracelet which is not original but looks pretty.
