A beautiful doll with high color cheeks & lips, no rubs. Blue sleep eyes with all their lashes. Factory styled hair that still retains the original flower wreath. Her bangs are all there, just some pushed back from storage. Strung just right so she is easy to pose. Some white spots on back of her left leg, no unwanted hard plastic odors. All original tagged tutu with attached matching underwear that are brighter pink than the tutu. Mostly on back there are faded brown dots that look to wash out, some on right sleeve, as pictured. Front of the tutu has very few dots and they are hardly noticeable. Still retains original flower applique on waist and on left shoulder. Back of neck is marked “Alexander”. Not perfect, but she displays beautifully. You don’t see her often. Peggy has a blonde mohair wig, which still retains its curl and finger-wave set. Makeup is lovely and there are no missing plugs from the eyelashes that set off those gorgeous rootbeer colored eyes. All hard plastic, no odors. Cream colored organdy gown is tagged, but the tag is a bit frayed, as it’s satin. Gown has some small to tiny holes here and there. Cream center snap shoes are discolored but their soles are nice. Stockings have been replaced because they are like netting more than true nylons and the tops aren’t finished with a sewn border… Not Alexander-ish at all. Her bandeau/ Juliet style headpiece has stains and a hole. I added the cream mesh veil as she surely would have had it. It most likely disintegrated over the years. I have displayed Peggy in my smoke-free home away from direct sunlight. Feel free to ask me anything you’d like; hopefully the pictures tell the story. This is a 1959 Blue Mandarin Jacket and Ribbon Skirt Set for the vintage Madame Alexander Cissy doll. The skirt is made from thick satin with ribbons of color and woven gold threads. The jacket is blue and is lined in organdy and features a unique mandarin collar. The jacket is trimmed at the wrists and center front bodice with embroidered ribbon. The jacket color is bright blue and the ribbon skirt appears to be slightly faded in front but brighter in back. The skirt has a couple of small stain spots that I tried to show in the photos. They are small and hard to see unless you know where to look. These things are reflected in the listing price. The skirt is tagged Cissy in center back seam. I have shown large photos so please look at all of them since they are considered part of the description. I usually respond within a short time. 20 1950S Madame Alexander Hard Plastic Cissy Doll. This doll is 20 tall and is marked Alexander on the back of the head. The head is loose. The rubber band that is holding it in place is stretched out and cracked, but The head is still attached. The arms and legs are not loose and hold a pose. The cheeks have lost their color. Everything looks clean and nice and there are no splits or breaks in the plastic. The green sleep eyes work well and the eyelashes are present as well. The hair is mostly in its original set, but is a bit flat in the back. Her fingers are dirty, but it should clean off easily. The taffeta dress shes wearing also looks very nice, but it is missing a bouquet of flowers that pins onto the front, as well as a ribbon sash that goes around the waist. It it is a little bit wrinkled and has a couple of pinholes from where The bouquet was attached. Its also slightly dirty from storage. The pantyhose that she is wearing look really good but they have a couple of tiny holes in the toes. One of the shoes has one strap that has a broken adjustment peg. The other peg still works. Vintage 1950′s Madame Alexander Cissy doll. Hard plastic with vinyl jointed arms. Stitched part honey blonde wig. Tagged coral taffeta dress. Vintage faux fur stole. Presented here is a beautiful vintage Madame Alexander Cissy doll. She has a hard plastic jointed body with vinyl jointed arms. Stitched part honey blonde wig in curls with bangs, the hair looks more reddish in the photos but I would call it honey or. Blue-green sleep eyes that open and closes with thick hair lashes, painted under lashes, nice coloring, coral mouth, pierced ears with rhinestone drop earrings. Marked on the back of the head “ALEXANDER” under the hair. She is wearing an original 1950′s tagged long coral taffeta formal gown, it has prong set rhinestone accents at the neck and side. The dress is lined and has a net, lace trimmed, petticoat attached at the waist seam, overall excellent vintage condition, shows some age. Cissy has a vintage white faux fur stole, the sole is not tagged but looks factory made, it is lined and wired on the edges so it stays in place and holds it’s shape, it has a shadow of pale blue on the lining. Her panties are white with lace trim and coral bows, she has white plastic molded high heel shoes, one shoes has the loop broken at the ankle strap but still shows nicely.
