Madame Alexander Dolls

Rare Vintage Madame Alexander – Easter Bunny – made in 1991 can you believe 27 yrs ago! Exclusively for A Child at Heart. She is Limited, Numbered Edition – number 2,922 out of 3,000. She reminds me of the 1950′s Wendy-Kins. One of the cutest “Easter Bunnies” around! This little girl has blonde hair and brown eyes and is 8 tall, made of hard plastic. She is wearing a light “Alexander” pink & white gingham romper, white socks and matching pink gingham shoes. The back of the romper is adorned with a fluffy Bunny tail. She also wears a hat complete with Bunny ears! If you look closely in the photos, you will see the elastic for the hat is as it came from the factory and the hat has never been removed, it has stretched out a little bit and there a slight discoloration where the elastic is sewn to the hat on each side, I didn’t notice it till I took the photos. In her right hand she is carrying her yellow Easter basket which is in the shape of an egg. The basket is made of metal with a fish-net pattern and filled with pink paper Easter grass, 2 decorated eggs and a fluffy yellow chick. The left arm is a little looser as it seems the rubber band may have stretched due to the weight of the basket. All bows are factory tied, eyes move freely and arms & legs are in tact. Overall, she is is great shape and comes with original box, tag and custom doll stand. Included is a custom designed doll stand by Ann Rast, Once Upon a Stand. In the 1990′s Ms. Rast designed and made custom doll stands for many Madame Alexander dolls, frequently using the same fabrics and decorations as the dolls making them very sought after and collectible. All photos are of the exact doll you will receive. She comes from my personal collection and has been in a smoke free, climate controlled environment. Beautiful curly haired blonde. She has a pink dress with ivory trim. Her large hat matches the dress and has a ring of rosettes around it. She has pink shoes. She is in mint condition and has never been out of box. She has tags and comes from a smoke free home. Her hat is in original packaging. Box has minor shelf wear and tissue is torn.
