Madame Alexander Dolls

The doll is made of hard plastic which is in excellent condition with intact stringing, beautiful face coloring, lashes, auburn hair and blue eyes. Her auburn hair is in it’s original set with curls on the upper sides of her head and still very shiny. Her floor length net veil does show small holes throughout the netting. Her tagged satin ivory wedding gown (shows a few stains) has long lace trimmed sleeves with puffy shoulders and a drop waist lined with stiff interfacing followed by a very full gathered skirt and attached petticoat, under pants, nylons and satin shoes. The bodice has loads of rhinestones with a lace trimmed sweet heart neckline. She wears a necklace of tiny white beads which is original and her fashion academy award gold wrist tag. She comes with her original comb/curler box with a pink comb and 7 curlers. The dress is tagged Madame Alexander. As beautiful piece to add to your collection! . Madame Alexander 21 I Love Lucy Doll Limited Edition. She is pristine in her original box. Outside of a couple loose pearls her outfit is perfect. She’s holding her handkerchief in one hand, and her purse in the other. The box shows a little sign of where as it’s been in storage for 27 years (see pics). She comes from a smoke free home and the stand is included.

Lucy from Chronicles of Narnia. This little doll Lucy from the book The Witch and the Wardrobe from the Chronicles of Narnia is now available for a new home. She did not come to me with her box or her hangtag but is still adorable in her country sweater and tweed skirt. She is very rare and hard to find but her sewn label says she is Lucy from the Narnia collection. She has been displayed for a short while in my glass cabinet and she is pristine. She comes with a faux brown fur coat a little oversized and stand. My wardrobe cabinet is not included. Thank you for looking. BEAUTIFUL Rare 14 1949-50 MADAME ALEXANDER LUCY BRIDE. Up for sale is a very nice Madame Alexander doll from around 1949-50. She has been stored in a glass cabinet. She has on an elaborate white satin gown that is trimmed in lace and rhinestones. Her slip, panties, hose and shoes are also original. The shoes do show some wear. Hose have a hole. The gown is a little wrinkled. Her blonde hair is in original do. Face is nice and eyes are working good with full eyelashes. Her veil is not in great shape with several holes. I tried to show it. Featured here is an exquisite Madame Alexander 1949 Lucy Bride Doll in her original ivory satin gown, with long tapering sleeves and a drop waist, and rhinestone bodice. IT has a lovely square neck edged in lace, with slightly puffed sleeves at the shoulders. It snaps down the back and is TAGGED with the fabric Madame Alexander Doll Co. She has her original tiny white bead necklace, her original ivory satin snap shoes, back seamed hose, and lace trimmed satin panties. Her gown has an underskirt or slip sewn to it at the drop waist for fullness. NOTE: This doll is missing her original veil, but I have put vintage fabric flowers at her temples in the same place and style as the original doll’s head decor. She also carries an added vintage satin hand basket with satin ribbon handles and trailing fabric flowers and satin ribbons. It can be carried nicely in either hand or over her wrist. This doll has the suntan body of the early Madame Alexander Margaret dolls; she has her dark brunette hair done up in its original set, pulled back in tight curls behind her ears and along the back of her neck. She has wonderful open and close eyes, painted eye brows, all her eye lashes, full painted lips and rosy cheeks. The “Margaret” faced dolls are some of the most beautiful made by Madame Alexander, in my opinion. This doll has flat feet, not “high heel feet” and poses nicely in a doll stand. A doll stand will be included so that she is ready for display. This doll has been kept in a darkened doll room in my SMOKE FREE and PET FREE home, in a doll cabinet. She shows no sign of any sun fading. I take great care to wrap my dolls so that they do not move around in transit. This is a beautiful 18 hard plastic Madame Alexander Bride Doll. She was produced in the late 1940s and belonged to my mother-in-law as a child. I do not know much about her, but from what I could find… She is a Lucy Bride with a Margaret face mold. She is all original.. Her satin and rhinestone bridal gown, veil with flower headpiece, all original undergarments, nylon stockings, and original satin front snap shoes. Her dressed is tagged Madame Alexander, as well as on the back of her neck. She is a beautiful doll with lovely facial coloring and her body is in excellent condition. Her fingers are all intact and her eyes with rooted lashes open and close perfectly. Her hair is very nice, blonde still in the original style, and the doll appears she was not played with much. However, her outfit is in rough shape and in definite need of restoration. Even though she appears to have seen little play, it seems that she was not stored away properly and her original outfit shows age discoloration, stains, and holes in the veil. The doll is so beautiful, that perhaps her gown would be worth trying to restore. I have not tried to clean or repair anything… I will leave that to the new owner. Her face is so beautiful and in perfect condition for her age! With some TLC, she would be a wonderful addition to your collection! Thanks for your interest!
