This listing is for a genuine 1961 Jacqueline Kennedy Portrait Doll in her Inaugural Ball Gown & Coat. It was made by Madame Alexander as a part of a limited production run and is model number 2210. This doll has been taken excellent care of and is in excellent condition. All accessories are present and accounted for (excluding her handbag, necklace and gloves). Her entire outfit fits correctly and is not damaged in any way. The doll includes only original parts and has no visible flaws. They were kept in a China Cabinet and not played with. They are in excellent condition, no cracks or chips and are approx 7.5 inches tall. They come with a 7 inch square wood Playpen. They all have their gold name tag pins. The only issues are Annette is missing one shoe and the dresses have slightly yellowed from aging in the cabinet. My belief is the clothes can be easily cleaned. THEY DO NOT HAVE AN ODOR and were NOT IN A SMOKING HOUSE. This is truly a great collectible set. International will be calculated. Cissy has perk nose and pouty lips with open close eyes that work easily. The dolls eyebrows are fading. The lashes on her right lid are imperfect. There is wear to her left eyelid and light wear to her cheek blush. It appears that there is glue residue at her ears (possibly earrings were once glued in). The doll is dirty and needs additional cleaning. There is a split above her left knee. Fingernails are missing paint. The doll is wearing a lovely tagged dress. The bodice of the dress seems faded and the seam at the waist is separated. The dress has a velvet belt that is closed with a back snap. The dress has three back snaps. The back seam is separated at the top of the seam. There is a full slip that is pulled at the elastic of the waist. The doll has a blue velvet bow in her hair. Also included is a red jumper with attached white blouse (untagged). There are seven stockings, one larger than the others – the elastic at the top of the stockings is aged. Included are yellow sunglasses with green lenses. Two pair of shoes, one silver in fair condition and a white pair in poor condition, the straps pulled away from the shoes. Marked “ALEXANDER” on back of head. Complete with original Earrings. Here’s a great “CISSY” for your collection. Her mature figure, jointed limbs and high-heeled feet made her a fashion doll classic in the 1950′s. Her body is hard plastic, and her arms are vinyl. Her head turns, and the shoulders, elbows, hips, and knees are jointed. Her “sleep” eyes work well and the lashes are full – see the photos. Her “lipstick” is intact with no chips or scratches to the color. Cissy comes complete with her original rhinestone earrings. Her wig, which is detached, is a redhead. Some of the original style can be seen but the wig does need some TLC. She is wearing panties that are stretched out and certainly look her age, but I don’t know if they were original. This Cissy is in excellent condition. The only issue can be seen in the second photo – One little piece of vinyl pops out of the arm joint when the arm is lowered – it can just be pushed back in to the joint – It’s mentioned here for complete accuracy. Original set 7 composition toddlers with hair in very good condition. Party dresses have good color and each one is tagged and each has an original slip and original shoes with no rips or tears. Her head is just a bit wobbly but her arms are fine and her knees bend well. Her hair is an amazing copper penny color, shiny and perfect. Her face paint is very high color and quite flawless. Her outfit is crisp and looks like it came right from the store. She comes with an extra pair of shoes and is wearing a bracelet and ring. Under her outfit she is wearing a black lace teddy. She is in her original box which is not in good shape (as you can see) but still is her original box. I have taken 3 more close up photos outside in bright sunlight. I’m afraid they’re still not quite as sharp as I would like but a new camera is coming. There is a bit of wear on the paint on her neck mostly on her right side. I don’t notice it in regular light but in bright light there is a bit of very subtle mottling mostly on the outside of her left eye. Her cheek color is amazing as are her eyebrows and lips.
