Not only is the outfit extremely rare but the doll is mint perfect! Hair is in original set. Sleep eyes work well. She still has her flowers and necklace. Outfit is mint with no rips, tears, or stains. Has original wrist tag. This is a once in a lifetime find. No odors, from a smoke free, pet free home. Margot is an all original 14 Madame Alexander Ballerina from 1951. She is a straight leg walker and has a blonde wig, blue eyes, thick lashes and bright original face color. She wears a pink tulle and satin tutu with rhinestone appliqués on the bodice. In her hair she wears a cluster of original flowers and original hair net. I don’t think her shoes and stockings have ever been removed. She even has her original arm bands, which are so often missing on this doll. The tulle dress is one layer and then there is another layer of tulle attached to the bloomers. The dress is tagged “Madame Alexander” and is crisp and unfaded. No stains on her dress. She is so crisp and mint but let me note a few items: Wig is lifting on the left side of her face. Shoes have darkened at the edges, I imagine from the aging of the glue that holds them together. She has a rub on her left arm right at the socket and a few light marks on her chest right below the neckline of her dress, not visible when dressed. Her eyes open and close smoothly but every so often the left eye sits back further in her head than the right eye when closed. It does not happen every time and has not happened when open. Here for sale is Madame Alexander Wendy Ann pink bride doll 21 inches, hard plastic, really hard to find in this dress and in this hairstyle! I think her face is Margaret faced even the tag shows Wendy Ann. Her hair is original with the hair net. She can pose beautifully but her costume has issues because of her age. Her netting dress, petticoat and veil have holes that were sewn back to avoid further breaking. The buttons of her petticoat are working but can’t be snapped after sewing the front part of petticoat, so I put non-acid tissue papers to avoid the dress buttons to touch her body. Her cheek color is there but she has some discoloration on her face and also on her body. She is clean without foul odor. She comes with everything in the pictures, please review pictures as part of description. The doll stand is not included. Here for sale is a Madame Alexander Peggy Bride hard plastic, Margaret faced, 18 doll, she is stunning and pose beautifully! Her face has beautiful color, eyelashes are full, eyes working and her hair is in original set with the matching vintage flowers as the ones she hold. Vintage Madame Alexander Margaret Ballerina Hard Plastic Doll 14. Near mint for this early example. Plastic is clean and bright. The mohair wig is perfect. Today I have a beautiful Madam Alexander 14-15 Amy doll from Little Women. This doll is from the early 1950′s. I also include a doll stand for her. Amy has her original dress, with tag, pantaloons and shoes. There is one small spot on the back of her dress that may come out, see photo close up. Her lovely blonde hair has a little missing from her bangs and needs her curls restyles. I think she had black bows at one time. Other than that she is in wonderful used condition, a lovely doll for your vintage collection. Her eyes open and close and all joints work. Please see pictures for full details. This is the prettiest Madame Alexander Margaret doll I’ve ever seen. She’s a vintage Princess Margaret Rose. She comes wearing her original light blue organdy/nylon dress with attached satin blue petticoat, blue satin panties which tie in the back, socks, blue Mary Jane shoes with bows and straw hat with replaced flowers. The cascading ribbon attached to the hat can be tied in a bow around her neck if desired. Her dress is in fair to good condition but displays nicely. There are a few small tears in her skirt and on the right lower side there is a small hole and what looks to be a few repairs. Most of these flaws are well hidden in the folds of her dress. I pulled out the skirt in order to take the last picture. The elastic in the puffed sleeves has relaxed and there are some tiny tears. Part of the middle snap on the back of her dress is missing. The dress is a bit faded and the original flower at the waist shows age. The dress is tagged however the tag is frayed and hard to read but if you look closely, the Madame Alexander name can be seen. Her hat is in very nice condition with replaced flowers. Still has its elastic chin strap which is no longer stretchy. Her shoes show some age. The snaps are present but have come unglued from her shoes and are attached to the straps. As the photo shows, this is hard to notice when the doll is standing since the straps lay nicely across her feet. This doll is in very good condition and has a gorgeous face with lightly blushed cheeks and red lips. Her green eyes have a touch of yellow. They open and close and all her dark lashes are intact. Her lovely blonde mohair wig is in its original style with pink vintage cabbage roses and original hair bars. She’s strung well and holds poses perfectly. She displays so beautifully. I’m being picky here but want to include everything that I notice. There is a very tiny scratch or mark of some kind on the left side of her nose. I never noticed this until I started carefully examining her for these pictures. It’s very hard to see…. Probably something that occurred during production. It’s extremely hard for my camera to capture it but if you look carefully at the 2 close-up photos of her face, it can be seen. FROM THE HOME OF A SMOKING COLLECTOR. This doll is in lovely condition for a vintage doll She is a 14 Margaret face Madame Alexander from 1950. She has her bracelet but does not have shoes and her hairpiece was destroyed (I will send the remnants with her). Her dress has staining but is structurally sound with no damage. Her hair is in excellent set and her eyes work well. She will be due to restring soon but she currently is holding her head and limbs well. Her right hand has a bit of light damage on the top (perhaps cuts) but fingers and toes are fully intact in on all limbs. A nice doll from the 1950′s with a highly desirable Margaret face.
