Nice looking and original condition large doll made in the early 1960s era by Madame Alexander… Features a Jacqueline Kennedy doll , # 2210 and is in the original box……. Vinyl material that has open /close eyes that work , original hair + clothing…. All in very good condition with no excessive wear but she needs restringing-her head and arms are loose… Its 20- box is in good shape-has two seam splits on the lid and some writing on the label.. 8 1950s SLW MADAME ALEXANDER ALEXANDER-KINS Doll -All Orig. (for your consideration by Antique-Boutique). This is a darling little 8-inch Mdm Alex doll. She is all original from head to toe. She is a straight leg walker. Her outfit is in excellent condition. The dress could use a little ironing, though. No unpleasant odors, stains, or damage. She has beautiful eyes that open and close nicely. Her hair is as nice as the day she was made. Her little straw bonnet is adorable. Just a wonderful little doll! Her head is just a bit wobbly but her arms are fine and her knees bend well. Her hair is an amazing copper penny color, shiny and perfect. Her face paint is very high color and quite flawless. Her outfit is crisp and looks like it came right from the store. She comes with an extra pair of shoes and is wearing a bracelet and ring. Under her outfit she is wearing a black lace teddy. She is in her original box which is not in good shape (as you can see) but still is her original box. I have taken 3 more close up photos outside in bright sunlight. I’m afraid they’re still not quite as sharp as I would like but a new camera is coming. There is a bit of wear on the paint on her neck mostly on her right side. I don’t notice it in regular light but in bright light there is a bit of very subtle mottling mostly on the outside of her left eye. Her cheek color is amazing as are her eyebrows and lips. MINT 16.5 ELISE MADAM ALEXANDER DOLL – ORIG PINK PRISTINE OUTFIT HAT SHOES BOX. This 16 1/2 Madame Alexander doll is from the late 1950s era and still has her original box, tissue and hang tag. Her face color is high and her hair is still in its original style and she has her original pearl necklace and pierced earrings. Her lashes are lush and there are no rubs in the cheek color. She looks like a debutante #1830 with heat set tiny pleats in the filmy pink organza material that is lined in a pink silky fabric and the dress is a long style. The bodice has silk flowers in excellent shape that match those in the hat. Her nylons and shoes are all original and her skin is flawless. This doll has the jointed ankles in additional to the arms and knees and she can wear heels as well as flat shoes. This doll has had one owner and she only took her out of the box to look at as she was her “good” dolly. The hat is in wonderful shape and this minty doll would be a wonderful additional to any collection and if you refresh the tissue paper, is nice enough to give as a gift! Vintage Madame Alexander Large 20 Cissy #2084 In original box. What an unbelievable find! Stored in an attic for over 50 years, likely never handled or displayed. A vintage 1950′s Madame Alexander CISSY, #2084 in the original box. She is near to mint! The only problems she might have are a result of extended time in storage and we will try to outline those now. The clothes, back of the hair and such are flatted from such a long time in the same position and need to be worked with. What you see in the pictures is exactly how she came out of the box for the first time to be photographed. The other thing is the baby breath or posies on her hat are flaking off and the cord on her hat has broke. We removed the pins from her had so you will have to reaffix the hat. The box label is checked in both the blonde and redhead square with blonde being bolder, but she looks like a redhead to us! The only other thing to note is there appears to be a little glue spot on her forehead. We examined this closely and it appears that it was from the manufacturing of the doll and probably a little over spill or drip from the hair line. We honestly have no other explanation since she is mint in every other way. Original tag, clean and crisp. Very very light dust perhaps, almost unnoticeable. You might spend a little time “Freshening” her up, but lets face it, you can’t get new unless you have a time machine and this is as close to new as you can get. The box is the downside, dusty, stained and faded with a broken corner or two on the lid, but it did its job as it protected Cissy from the attic environment. This item MUST and WILL be liquidated.
