The outfit consists of the tagged pink candy stripe dress, knit panties, “Richard Original” white straw pill box hat with pink flower accent, and replacement shoes with silver bases and pink elastic. Offered here is an exquisite blonde Madame Alexander Binnie Walker doll, with working walker mechanism. She stands 18 inches tall and has her ORIGINAL blonde wig in its ORIGINAL set, with tight curls and short bangs. She is dressed in a striped vintage day dress with fitted waist and large self bow at the neckline. This style was very popular in the late 1940s and early 1950s. The dress has cap sleeves and two buttons at the back; the skirt flares nicely. She has a beautiful pair of vintage panties with tiny satin bows and lace trim, and a vintage cotton slip also edged in vintage lace. She wears vintage cream colored satin ankle strap shoes that snap, with vintage nylon ankle socks. She has a lovely vintage cream and black straw bonnet; this hat is trimmed in black grosgrain ribbon and has black grosgrain ties. It features vintage Forget-me-not fabric flowers on each side of her head where the ties attach. It is a beautiful vintage shape, with a slightly squared off brim in the front and fits her head perfectly. I have added a pair of white nylon wristlet gloves, trimmed in lace, and a little brown leatherette suitcase which opens and closes with a snap. She is all ready for a trip to come to your house or for a visit to the big city! This lovely doll has the wistful Binnie Walker face, with rosebud lips, rosy cheeks, open and close eyes, brush lashes and painted brows. She is hard plastic and clearly very durable. There a few line scuffs around her midriff from play or a doll stand — shes came to me this way — but other than this is is superb condition for her age. I take great care to wrap and pack my dolls so that they do not move around in transit. No props in the photos are included — only the dressed doll and her accessories. My home is SMOKE FREE and PET FREE and she has been kept in a darkened doll room on display and never played with. She shows no sign of any sun fading and has no odor. She would make a wonderful addition to your collection of vintage Madame Alexander dolls. Listed here is a complete outfit, including tagged dress, for your vintage Cissy doll. I see some of these pieces come along fairly often, but this outfit is exceptionally nice, and I hope you’ll consider it if you’re looking for this particular one. The sheer green dress is nylon with pink flocked flowers. It is trimmed in green lace around the neckline and puffed sleeves, and it is lined in the bodice in chartreuse taffeta to match the companion slip and lace-trimmed panties. There are four square snaps down the back, all secure. A pink satin ribbon defines the waist and ties in a generous bow in the back. Its original corsage and greenery are in excellent shape. The straw hat is adorned with the same pink silky satin ribbon and has its original floral trim that looks great. The chartreuse taffeta slip and panties have had their elastic replaced with vintage pink rayon and rubber elastic, and it is nice and tight in both pieces. I have added to the mix a pair of vintage pink high heels with excellent elastic and a vintage gold-toned watch with pink elastic band. Never did like the look of the black high heels with this pretty dress. The dress, slip, and panties have not been washed. I started to press the ribbon streamers before taking the pictures, but I don’t think they have ever been pressed, and I wanted the purchaser (if there is one) to have the honor of doing that. The sleeves of the dress have had elastic woven through the stretched original elastic to give the right fit. I don’t see any spots, stains, tears, holes, frays, or other on the dress, slip, or panties. The slip could use a very light press. The lighting for the pictures is not doing the fabric justice. I have shown a close-up in two pictures of the fabric to show you that the little lines are present. They seem to appear and disappear according to the lighting. The Cissy doll that this outfit originally came on is modeling in the pictures, but she and her stand are not included. Madame Alexander Vintage Cissy Green Nylon Dress, Hat, Slip, And Panties. Complete set consisting of gorgeous sheer dress with pink satin sash, original hat with original flowers, matching chartreuse organdy slip, and chartreuse panties. There is a 1/4 break in the nylon in the front of the dress and the back sleeve seam has a tiny place where stitching is coming undone (see photos). Otherwise this is a beautiful and all original, excellent set. Colors are more vibrant than they appear in photos. Featured here is an exquisite Madame Alexander 1949 Lucy Bride Doll in her original ivory satin gown, with long tapering sleeves and a drop waist, and rhinestone bodice. IT has a lovely square neck edged in lace, with slightly puffed sleeves at the shoulders. It snaps down the back and is TAGGED with the fabric Madame Alexander Doll Co. She has her original tiny white bead necklace, her original ivory satin snap shoes, back seamed hose, and lace trimmed satin panties. Her gown has an underskirt or slip sewn to it at the drop waist for fullness. NOTE: This doll is missing her original veil, but I have put vintage fabric flowers at her temples in the same place and style as the original doll’s head decor. She also carries an added vintage satin hand basket with satin ribbon handles and trailing fabric flowers and satin ribbons. It can be carried nicely in either hand or over her wrist. This doll has the suntan body of the early Madame Alexander Margaret dolls; she has her dark brunette hair done up in its original set, pulled back in tight curls behind her ears and along the back of her neck. She has wonderful open and close eyes, painted eye brows, all her eye lashes, full painted lips and rosy cheeks. The “Margaret” faced dolls are some of the most beautiful made by Madame Alexander, in my opinion. This doll has flat feet, not “high heel feet” and poses nicely in a doll stand. A doll stand will be included so that she is ready for display. This doll has been kept in a darkened doll room in my SMOKE FREE and PET FREE home, in a doll cabinet. She shows no sign of any sun fading. I take great care to wrap my dolls so that they do not move around in transit. This listing is for the dress, slip, and panties only. Other items shown (including doll) are not a part of the listing. The hat is available in a separate listing. The dress was custom made by an excellent seamstress for the Madame Alexander Cissy doll out of a lovely vintage yellow organdy fabric and was patterned after Cissy’s tagged purple and pink organdy dresses except for a slight departure at the neckline and collar. A purple satin ribbon is inset at the waistline and pinched down on one side to show off a pretty vintage flower corsage. Three tiny pearl buttons decorate the bodice. Fabric is doubled in the bodice, and the dress closes with three small square snaps in the back. The skirt is ultra full and has a deep hem, as you can see. The organdy fabric had never been used and has great body. The pictures show the organdy a little paler than it is, but it is still a light yellow. Accompanying the dress is a slip and panty set in light yellow cotton, which, I believe, is factory made, but not sure. It is sized perfectly for Cissy. The slip is made with a waistband that has one small square snap and is just right for Cissy’s waist. It has one tuck that encircles it, and lace trim at the bottom. Attached underneath is a netting slip, trimmed in some type of white ribbon. The panties are lace trimmed and have an elasticized waist with good elastic. These underthings appear to be vintage items. The netting used (with the smaller holes) would date back to the 50s or 60s. Both of these items are in very good condition, with no flaws that I see. The dress is in perfect condition, just as it was made. It has not been displayed, but has occupied a spot in Cissy’s closet for quite a while. It needs to be showcased.
