- So Rare to have with the Wrist Tag! Vintage Southern Belle BKW from 1956. Madame Alexander Doll – 8 in. This little doll is so beautiful in her gorgeous outfit. On one wrist she has her Wendy wrist tag and on the other she carries her little magenta pink velveteen drawstring evening bag on a silver handle. She has blonde hair fixed in the perfect little set with curls all around. On top she wears a little purple straw hat – adorned with little pink flowers in two shades of pink and also has delicate netting over her face; this stays on with a little gold elastic band. She wears a crispy full length gown in pink taffeta – this features a bustle in the back; underneath the skirt she wears a crinoline and a white eyelet slip, white pantaloons with picot edging, cuffed white socks and magenta pink shoes – side snap – fuzzy bottom. Vintage 1950′s Madame Alexander Cissette doll. Original pink high heel shoes with floral toes. Tosca hair, stitched part. Presented here is a beautiful vintage 1950′s Madame Alexander Cissette doll wearing a 1950′s pink taffeta dress, original Cissette pink hat with flocked and velvet flowers, original strappy pink high heels with velvet flowers and. On the toes, underneath she has matching pink panties. The doll is hard plastic, bent knee, no cracks or damage. Lovely high color face with blue-green sleep eyes, that open and close freely, red mouth, single stroke brows. Her hair is looks to be tosca color (between light brown, dark blonde and reddish), stitched part with most of the original curl. The doll holds a pose nicely, knees bend. The clothing is in excellent vintage condition, no stains, no tears, nice body. The written description is based on my opinion and observation of the item. 1958 Cissy Doll Pink Swiss Dot Shirtwaist Dress Val Lace Flocked Slip Madame Alexander. Okay, I would love to tell you about this absolute beauty. The band in her head connecting her to her body has weakened from age so her head is detached. Her hair appears to be in very original condition but is also detached which is perfect for washing her hair before attaching to head. Nothing stands out to my sniffer, but I’m sure there are reasonable age/storage smells. Her hat is stunning but needs a little coaxing simply from storage. It is in beautiful condition and a confection of Italian straw, tulle and flowers. I removed her dress which is pink swiss dot, semi-sheer with lovely rows of Val lace and rhinestone buttons and earrings. There is some patina to the metal of rhinestones. Her slip is stunning and flocked with an elaborate design that you can see through the dress in a peak a boo fashion. Her body appears to be darn near perfect. Honestly, nothing for me to say but it looks great! Her eyes open and close as they should and appear bright and beautiful! Her stockings are good. Her panties are good. Slip is in great condition. The dress pulled apart in the fold of hem (about 6 inches) which I’ve seen before (a professional seamstress used fusible web and did an amazing job) – web is less than 1/4 width, there is a tear in the hem underneath of hem which has been left as is and really doesn’t pose a problem because the edges are apart of the hem which is stitched down as it was originally. Dress may have slight age discoloration but nothing stands out. I know lace can yellow with age and as I have nothing to compare it to, I can only assume this has happened. Her face is stunning. I see an itty bitty dot which I know will come out with Dawn or something similar but I’m not going to attempt this, it’s not my field. Anything else I believe is glue related to her hair and will be covered by her hair yet again when reattached. I apologize but I don’t know the exact number of this doll/dress. However, after staring at Cissy’s face and her beautiful clothing, I certainly understand the fascination and love for these beauties. I read the following online. VINTAGE MADAME ALEXANDER 15 HARD PLASTIC LITTLE WOMEN MEG IN PINK CHECK DRESS. This is a pretty vintage Madame Alexander doll from the Little Women Series. From my books, she appears to be from around 1955. She does have the small closed hands that are on the older dolls. She is in good condition with her original dress, slip, pantaloons and replaced shoes. Her dress is not mint but good. Pantaloons are stained, as shown. I think it is her original hair bow. Body is in good shape with a few minor scratches and eyes open and close just fine. She has been displayed in a smoke free home. Please wait for me to send an invoice. Welcome to my auctions! She is dressed in a later Madame Alexander tagged pink satin gown with long pink slip. Her white “fur” stole is newer, but nicely done with pink satin lining. I added the spray of flowers to her waistline. She has pink undies, new tight nylons and silver high heeled shoes. Her hair is perfect in blond, off the face style, but has some glue residue on the back of her head that happened when she was made at the factory. She has a lovely face, full lashes, peach eye lids, brows, blush and red lips. She has no cracks and is clean with no odors. She also has blush on her hands and knees. From smoke free home. Absolutely beautiful 1962 Madame Alexander baby McGuffey baby doll. Wears a light pink and white dress and light pink bloomers. Dress, bloomers and bonnet are in excellent condition. She is in excellent like new condition. Eyes open and close. 19 from head to feet. Only issue is left eye is a little hazy. Box is in good condition. However the box does not match.
