MINT 16.5 ELISE MADAM ALEXANDER DOLL – ORIG PINK PRISTINE OUTFIT HAT SHOES BOX. This 16 1/2 Madame Alexander doll is from the late 1950s era and still has her original box, tissue and hang tag. Her face color is high and her hair is still in its original style and she has her original pearl necklace and pierced earrings. Her lashes are lush and there are no rubs in the cheek color. She looks like a debutante #1830 with heat set tiny pleats in the filmy pink organza material that is lined in a pink silky fabric and the dress is a long style. The bodice has silk flowers in excellent shape that match those in the hat. Her nylons and shoes are all original and her skin is flawless. This doll has the jointed ankles in additional to the arms and knees and she can wear heels as well as flat shoes. This doll has had one owner and she only took her out of the box to look at as she was her “good” dolly. The hat is in wonderful shape and this minty doll would be a wonderful additional to any collection and if you refresh the tissue paper, is nice enough to give as a gift! Madame Alexander Cissy Doll 1956 Pink Satin Ballgown Dress Variation. You are purchasing Madame Alexander Cissy Doll 1956 Pink Satin Ballgown Dress Variation. My mom had two versions this one is a thicker material and the flowers are different and its wider on the bottom this is from her estate. This one has a fuller draping(think that is the correct terminology name for the wider bottom) and the inner material is a thick material peau de soie feels almost like a woven felt inside its a thicker satin then the other one. It is tagged with a crisp cissy tag. Item #’s 2041 22-61 This was made in 1956. Shown on Cissy for modeling purpose only she is not included. It is in used condition. Its a gorgeous gown. It has some flaws. It has aging it has become a paler pink and the ribbon straps are aged. It has soiling and some stains as shown in the close ups. On the back there is a few small reddish color stains. The back seam bottom has a small separation but you do not have to mend as when the snaps are closed you cant see it. The snaps all there and work. The flowers some aging, some wear, soiling, and some color fade. They are full does not look like any are missing. There is some minor edge fray to edge of the flowers some bends. There is areas of snags in the dress as shown in the close ups, a few minor pin holes, and there is one line of a snag run shown in the close ups. There is no big holes and no tears. There is a few pop stitches nothing major. I have provided plenty of close up photos inside the listing with all the flaws shown. It needs to be ironed. Overall it is a pretty displayable dress all flaws are shown in the photos. See my other listings. For more great items!
