INCREDIBLY RARE – Madame Alexander Dolls – Princess Elizabeth & Prince Philip.

First let’s get the flaws out of the way on her: This doll was once proof why you pack these beauties in oversized boxes; she had quite the bump that split her head from a too-small box and it has been repaired. You can still tell, but the color is matched well. She has a small expansion line at the back of her head, and further repair there. This repair is over 10 years old now, and has not gone anywhere. It was properly pinned, epoxied and cured correctly. She has a line on her chin too; but it is reinforced inside of her head and will not go anywhere. Now, she retains beautiful coloring and has beautiful features. She is the 21inch Madame Alexander Fairy Princess with the Wendy face. Eyes open and close correctly; great composition on her body; no lifts or breaks. Just fine surface crazing and some scuffs to her fingers, which is all to be expected. Her wig is in good set, but she wouldn’t mind a trip to the hair salon. It may just be a touch sparse in the back; she is a strawberry blonde. She is the unmarked Wendy that crops up from time to time. She has her original dress, shoes and undies. Socks are definitely old and correct time period but I don’t know if they’re her’s. Her dress is in okay condition; like her, it displays well but has its faults. It is not dry rotted but does have some holes here and there, but otherwise solid. The trim isn’t too great. She is missing her wings, her crown and her wand. There is a tag; the text is faint. I have washed and (lightly) pressed her dress and undies. I would’ve left it alone, but the dress was as disgustingly dirty as it gets; to the point it looked a dark green versus steel blue. She is from a non-smoking home. She will be packed in an appropriately sized box; with lots of space and packing; wrapped in paper or tissue against her as not to damage her paint in transit.

Created circa 1937, this composition doll is a beautiful depiction of young Princess Elizabeth (United Kingdom) Her outfit is original which include her pretty yellow party dress, white panties, white lace slip, nylon stockings, pink satin snap-on shoes, and a rhinestone crown. Of course, Princess Elizabeth dolls were made before she became Queen Elizabeth. Little girl’s body. Dress has Original tag. Back of her head is the Madame Alexander marking. Her original clothes are in great condition. Sleepy eyes work well and her brown eyes are a tiny bit cloudy. She is in very good condition for her age… No crazing on her face or body. She has a mohair wig with lots of original curls. Up for offer is a 15 Composition Madame Alexander, McGuffy Ana doll. She is in amazing condition for her age, see pictures of some crazing. Human hair wig in original set. She wears her original dress tagged with attached onesie and pinafore. All in nice condition. I added the hat and roller skates and socks. She is 15 inches tall without the skates. Princess Margaret Rose 1953 Coronation Beaux Arts 18 MA doll 2020B. The Beaux Arts series were created for one year only and for the coronation of Queen Elizabeth II. The Beaux Arts collection was a line of six exquisitely costumed 18 dolls to commemorate the occasion. Princess Margaret Rose #2020B is a stunning dark haired beauty wearing a very feminine gown of blush pink taffeta styled with puff sleeves, a deep décolletage and magenta velvet sash, decorated with iridescent sequins. The great flaring skirt of the gown has hooped petticoat beneath it, as do all all the Beaux Arts dolls. The Princess Margaret face always with blue eyes. We have her original tiara, gloves, two strand pearl necklace, one pearl teardrop earring, shoes, decotellage padding, and hoop slip/petticoat. She is missing her stockings and bracelets, but does have a non-original pearl bracelet. She is also missing one of her pearl teardrop earrings. Her hoop petticoat support is twisted from storage, but should be restorable. She is from a non-smoking home. 1930′s Alexander Doll Co. Antique PRINCESS ELIZABETH 24 all composition strung. This very well cared for antique composition doll is in excellent condition. This “Little Flower Girl” has spent 50 of her 80+ years displayed on her stand, in a glass cabinet (smoke free environment). Let’s look at any problem areas first. There is some normal age related crazing on her head, upper body, and limbs. Please enlarge photos to examine. Her upper legs have some wear & her left upper lashes have some thinning & a small missing “clump” of hairs. Lower lip has two small nicks in the lipstick. Her human hair wig is shedding a bit when brushed, but the hair is clean and very full. The wig itself has a lose edge that will be simple to reglue. She is strung, but it has loosened over the years. She can be posed but may need a tighter stringing after getting settled in her new home. This huge doll 24! No cracks, breaks or missing parts. The composition colouring is even throughout her entire body. All fingers/toes are there with no chipping amazing! , and no chips in facial areas (left eye as noted). Her facial makeup is still clear, bright & Rosie. Her beautiful sparkly clear blue eye close when asleep and open wide when awake. Full lashes on the right. Left side noted above. She has an open mouth with red lips, a visible tongue and 4 perfect white teeth. She is wearing a 50+ year old custom made Flower Girl gown with matching onesie and attached full petticoat slip, and we believe she is wearing her original pink leather button shoes with vintage white stockings.
