MUSEUM QUALITY 1950′s Madame Alexander Princess Margaret Rose 18 Green Dress. In all the years we have been doing dolls we have never seen another Margaret Rose in this stunning green dress! Not only is the outfit extremely rare but the doll is mint perfect! Hair is in original set. Sleep eyes work well. She still has her flowers and necklace. Outfit is mint with no rips, tears, or stains. Has original wrist tag. This is a once in a lifetime find. No odors, from a smoke free, pet free home. This is the prettiest Madame Alexander Margaret doll I’ve ever seen. She’s a vintage Princess Margaret Rose. She comes wearing her original light blue organdy/nylon dress with attached satin blue petticoat, blue satin panties which tie in the back, socks, blue Mary Jane shoes with bows and straw hat with replaced flowers. The cascading ribbon attached to the hat can be tied in a bow around her neck if desired. Her dress is in fair to good condition but displays nicely. There are a few small tears in her skirt and on the right lower side there is a small hole and what looks to be a few repairs. Most of these flaws are well hidden in the folds of her dress. I pulled out the skirt in order to take the last picture. The elastic in the puffed sleeves has relaxed and there are some tiny tears. Part of the middle snap on the back of her dress is missing. The dress is a bit faded and the original flower at the waist shows age. The dress is tagged however the tag is frayed and hard to read but if you look closely, the Madame Alexander name can be seen. Her hat is in very nice condition with replaced flowers. Still has its elastic chin strap which is no longer stretchy. Her shoes show some age. The snaps are present but have come unglued from her shoes and are attached to the straps. As the photo shows, this is hard to notice when the doll is standing since the straps lay nicely across her feet. This doll is in very good condition and has a gorgeous face with lightly blushed cheeks and red lips. Her green eyes have a touch of yellow. They open and close and all her dark lashes are intact. Her lovely blonde mohair wig is in its original style with pink vintage cabbage roses and original hair bars. She’s strung well and holds poses perfectly. She displays so beautifully. I’m being picky here but want to include everything that I notice. There is a very tiny scratch or mark of some kind on the left side of her nose. I never noticed this until I started carefully examining her for these pictures. It’s very hard to see…. Probably something that occurred during production. It’s extremely hard for my camera to capture it but if you look carefully at the 2 close-up photos of her face, it can be seen. Vintage 1937 Madame Alexander Princess Elizabeth. This lovely doll was cherished by me for many years & well cared for. She has tin eyes, human hair eyelashes & human hair wig. She is jointed at the neck, shoulders & hips & is tightly strung. She has absolutely No Crazing! She has never been retouched or repaired. She still wears her original hair ribbons, onesie, tagged apron, socks & oilcloth shoes. I have added a vintage hat from that time period. She does show some wear at her joints from posing. There is a tiny nick to her right pink (tiny part of pinky nail was chipped). Hard to find this beautiful doll in this condition! SMOKE & PET-FREE HOME (no odors). Vintage 13 inch, Composition Princess Elizabeth in a rare Peach Gown with Original Tiara. All composition with socket head, sleep eyes, real lashes, open mouth, teeth, blonde human hair unoriginal coiffure, jointing shoulders and hips. She is wearing original peach taffeta gown with peach overlay and rich ruching at hem and bodies, pink pantries, socks, silver side-snap shoes with silver buckle, black velvet cape, and with silver tiara. No damage to dress. The cape does has a few slits in the velvet from age but the dress is perfect, but the way the velvet lays not noticeable.
