E II R Absolutely beautiful, hard plastic, (and vinyl over-sleeve arms) 21 inch tall , Cissy, “Queen Elizabeth”, coronation portrait doll , circa 1950s, (#2281) by Madame Alexander is getting quite difficult to find. She has beautiful, light brown hair in the original set with thick curls and has lovely blue, clear sleep eyes, perfect eyelashes, closed mouth and pierced ears. Her hard plastic body has the vinyl over-sleeve arms with joints at the elbows, shoulders, hips and knees as well as high-heel shaped feet and pink touches to knees. She wears her tagged: Cissy/Madame Alexander, long gold brocade , taffeta, tulle lined, Court gown with bustle train back, attached, “Order of the Garter” long blue sash with rhinestones, studded stones and pearls as well as her original lace trimmed taffeta panties, seamed long nylon stockings , gold satin high-heeled shoes, long gloves and three original, stone studded bracelets. And she wears her original, gold gem stone encrusted crown. Shown on page 53, Mme. Alexander Dolls 3rd edition-Mandeville. Her gown is crisp and clean without stains or fading. She has no cracks or breaks, no missing eyelashes, no fading or other marks and no odors as she is from a smoke free home. “Prince Philip” & other dolls are not included and will be listed separately. This Queen decided she needed to get out of her queen dress for a while and find a nice Spring outfit. She has put together a very nice suit of boucle’ wool. This wool is vintage and it has been cleaned before construction of the suit. Please see the closeup picture of the fabric. Boucle’ is known for its loopy texture, giving it a very unique presence. The suit and matching ruffled blouse are fully lined. The hat is also made from the wool and lined the same. The suit consists of the hat, suit jacket, skirt, and ruffled blouse. Cissy is also wearing a pair of newer nylon panties, vintage nylons, vintage shoes, Vintage Cissy gloves, and a pearl necklace, earrings and bracelet. Cissy herself has been thoroughly cleaned and restrung to her head and arms. She has had her wig cleaned and restyled into the Queen style. She has had lash replacement in her right eye. She has had a spa treatment of light blush and a sealer applied to protect her pretty face from fading and yellowing. She has some normal small scuffs and rubs, but nothing major. She is ready for display!! In looking at the pictures I see a hair on her forehead that looks like a scratch. It is not, it is one of those pesky hairs that jump into the picture at the wrong time :-/. I do not photoshop or alter my pictures in any way. No smoke and mirrors, what you see is exactly what she is. Pictures are part of the description. Vintage 1957-58 Madame Alexander Cissette doll. Reddish blonde hair, triple stitched part. Wearing tagged gold brocade Queen gown. Original full slip with. Gold crown with rhinestones. Pear drop earrings and pearl necklace. Presented here is a fabulous 1950′s Madame Alexander Cissette doll. She has reddish golden blonde. Hair with a triple stitched part wig, still in the most of the original lovely curls. The eyes open and close freely, hard upper lashes, painted under lashes, single stroke brows, coral mouth, lovely coloring. She has pierced ears with pearl drop earrings and wears a wired pearl necklace. The doll is hard plastic, bent knee, good strings, holds a pose well, marked on the back; MME Alexander, no splits. She is wearing the original tagged dress, this is the “Queen” gown in gold brocade with a blue jeweled sash. She has the original full petticoat of cream taffeta with an inner ruffle and cream color panties. The shoes are cream satin high heels. The crown is gold tone metal embellished with rhinestones, it still has the gold elastic chin strap which has lost some stretch. All excellent vintage condition. 1950s MADAME ALEXANDER QUEEN ELIZABETH DOLL MARGARET FACE. This vintage RARE Madame Alexander Coronation Queen doll is all original and never-played-with. She measures approximately 17 in height, and everything shes wearing is original to this doll. Her wig is minty, original and uncombed. Face color is vivid with nice red lips, and clear eyes with full lashes. Her HP body is in very nice condition and her walker mechanism works smoothly. There are some discoloration spots on her chest which is shown in the pictures. Her clothing has been gently laundered and is in good condition with the exception of a small hole along the bottom of her dress front. Also, her gloves show wear if you look closely. Vintage 1950s Madame Alexander Cissy Queen Elizabeth II Doll 20. What a beautiful doll. Dress with train crown jewelry shoes. She has been on display in the estate of Rexall Drug owners for many years. Her head is a little loose. I have found no cracks in her. I did not remove all clothes but do not feel any cracks anywhere. One slipper strap has been repaired. Her gloves need cleaning. You may choose to clean hair and clothes but they look great to me. Here is a classic example of a Queen Elizabeth coronation doll by Madame Alexander. Queen Elizabeth was made in 1957 to celebrate the coronation of Queen Elizabeth. This gorgeous vintage Cissy Doll is 19 inches tall, all hard plastic with socket head, five piece walking-style body, dark blue sleep eyes, and tosca hair in an elaborate arrangement of curl. The dress is tagged as. Cissy by Madame Alexander. The Body is marked on the back of her head under the hairline: ALEXANDER. Ivory brocade gown (1). Blue ribbon sash with jewels and adornments (1). Bracelets with faux jewels (2). Jeweled dangle earrings (2). And of course: Gold Crown with Jewels (1). Condition of Clothes & Accessories. The vintage clothes are in excellent condition with no stains, rips or repairs. All are original and have never been washed. The dress and sash are in pristine condition but could use an iron, which I decided not to use for photos so that the quality would not be compromised. The gloves and undergarments are aged in color as is typical with dolls this age. Elastic on the petticoat is stretched but otherwise the garment is in great condition. Please see photographs for detail. The hard plastic head, body and moveable limbs are in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, scratches or repaint. There are slight superficial markings as photographed. The eye lashes are beautifully intact. Lids open and close fully. The hair needs to be re-styled but is in tact. I smoothed the hair out to take the pictures but it will need some fine tuning to get it back in tip top shape. The items included in this listing may have wear and flaws seen in vintage dolls. For sale is a Cissy walker by Madame Alexander dressed in the Queen Elizabeth II Coronation gown produced in 1957. The doll is in great condition, no cracks; one little mark on her left toe. Gown is tagged; there is a stain around the bottom of the gown; see pictures for condition – I haven’t tried to wash or clean it. Sash is in good shape with stones attached – crown is pulling away from plastic base, again, look at pictures to determine the condition. Her head needs tightening; it’s loose, and her left eyelashes have a small area missing. Her hairstyle has a side part and the hair could use a restyle, but seems full and all here.
