Madame Alexander made these dolls with sleep eyes {working}, the dolls mare marked “ALEXANDER” on the back of the neck AND on the composition body. All of these 14 dolls have socks, shoes, undies, slip s, and different colored organdy see thru dresses. Each doll has a name on her breast with their names and have a head covering cap. The bodies of all these doll have some crazing of the composition, the Marie doll has facial crazing in a severe way, Emelie and Annette have little facial crazing. This is a 7 ½ high Madame Alexander Quintuplet toddler doll. Her composition is in very good condition with no crazing. The overall stringing is loose. Three Sweet Dionne Quintuplet 12 Madame Alexander 1930s Toddler Dolls. Dolls all has very rosy cheek, knee and backs of hand color. These lovely dolls have sleep eyes with perfect thick eyelashes as well; original wigs that need a little bit of re-styling. Composition is in overall very good original condition with very faint fine line crazing detected with very close scrutiny. One doll has a 1/2 separation under her chin that is only obvious if you tilt her head backwards. All dolls are marked along their backs, “Madame Alexander” and very faintly along neckline what appears to be “Dionne “. Dolls are very fresh and clean packed away with care over the years. I have up for sale a wonderful vintage original circa 1930s attic fresh set of Dionne Quintuplet 7 dolls. Unmarked as far as I can see , possibly made by Madame Alexander but not sure either way. Not sure if the clothes is original or made later, I tend to think its the latter. The dolls have some age / storage related imperfections as with many dolls of this era that were stored in old attics and such. The outside layer of material has some cracks , chips, losses. ONLY THROW OUT THE BOXES AND PACKAGING AFTER YOU HAVE INSPECTED THE ITEM OR ITEMS AND FIND NO DAMAGE other than what may be noted in the condition report or shown in the pics. SAVE THE BOX AND ALL PACKAGING , PICS OF THE OUTER BOX AND INNER BOX , AND OF THE DAMAGED ITEM WOULD BE REQUIRED. THIS IS PART OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITY WHEN IT COMES TO DAMAGE. Up for your consideration is a vintage set of 1930′s Dionne Quintuplet 7 dolls in an adorable wooden crib. They are unmarked on the bodies or heads so I can’t really tell if they are Madame Alexander dolls. Each bent-leg doll is composition and wear original clothing. Three of the dolls clothes match to fabric pattern except for different colors. Two of the dolls have the same style clothing as the others but different fabrics. They all have marching booties tied with coordinating ribbons. Each has matching bonnets with ribbon ties. The doll dresses and flannel diapers are safety pinned. The faces have original paint with dark hair, side-glancing eyes, painted lashes, eyebrows and red lips. The dolls have some slight crazing on their heads. One of the dolls has some cracks on her face (yellow dress). Another has some chipping (solid pink dress). The bodies are all in very good condition for age. The crib measures 12 1/2″L x 8″W x 9H. Dionne Quintuplet and Quintmobile. This unique and truly historic set is a story in itself. Made of composition, each baby is unique with their own original dress and name tag and accessories. The mobile states each girl’s name but is missing its wheels (see pictures) Each doll is beautiful and quite old but truly show the quality of work the famed doll company is known for. Cecile: is dressed in a blue onesie with matching bonnet. Her onesies is attached in the back by a safety pin. Annette: is dressed in a yellow onesie with matching bonnet. She only has one shoe and one sock and her outfit is also attached by a safety pin in the back. Yvonne: is dressed in a pink onesie and comes with one shoe and sock, no bonnet and her outfit is connected by a safety pin she has a slight scratch line on her left leg. Emelie: is dressed in a purple onesie with matching bonnet with no shoes or socks and her outfit is attached with a safety pin. This set of dolls is a “matched set”, which means everything matches. All of the girl’s clothing is correct, down to the shoes and socks. This set of dolls has been together for over 80 years. This set of dolls also comes with a set of brass name pins which has “MADAME ALEXANDER” stamped on the back sides. This set of dolls has had it’s composition cleaned, and then all of the dolls have been professionally restrung. Dolls have all of their fingers and toes. Composition has some very minor crazing. The dolls clothing has been lightly laundered, and is in excellent condition. I don’t see any holes or tears at all. The bonnets still have their ORIGINAL ribbons!!! Clothing still has nice coloring!! The doll’s shoes are in great shape, and does not have any broken snaps. Doll’s have full heads of hair, and eye’s don’t have any chips.. I had a seamstress who does beautiful work make cotton seersucker dresses and bonnets.
