Dionne Quintuplets with Carousel set. In celebration of the company’s 75th anniversary. These darling dolls are a reproduction of the Dionne Quint dolls first introduced in 1935. Box shows a little shelf wear with a tear on one corner – see picture. Dolls are MINT Condition and Carousel Box has never even been opened. The dolls are in MINT condition with their. 75th anniversary wrist tags, heart-shaped necklaces with each doll’s name, and original box. The carousel came in a generic brown box mailed directly from the Toy Shoppe that has never been opened. Soft brown painted vinyl head on a hard plastic body, side-glancing eyes, brown painted molded hair, and are all jointed at their necks, shoulders, and hips. Each wears their own colorful outfits with lace trim and a checked bow on the skirt matching the color of their dress, and a bonnet with a satin rosebud matching the color of the bonnet. Heavy round base that spins, a cover in the style of a multi-colored cloth parasol, and five white wooden seats decorated with a painted flower pot onthe side. These are the Dionne Quintuplets by Madame Alexander, circa 1935. They are all composition and a complete set of (5). All are marked “ALEXANDER” on their backs. All are excellent and clean condition with very nice coloring. There are no cracks, breaks, crazing or distracting marks. One needs to be restrung and two are a tad loose. They all have their original clothing which consists of dress, slip, diaper, bonnet and bib. The bibs have their names embroidered on them. One is missing her bib. There are no odors. All clothing is very nice with no holes, tears, stains or problems. The group appears to have been put away when made and never played with. Really as nice as you will fine these. Madame Alexander dolls, the complete set of the five Dionne Alexander composition 7 1/2 baby dolls, circa 1936 Composition dolls. They are molded and have glancing brown eyes with eyelashes, eyebrows, natural looking hair and close bee sting mouths. They are named Emelie, Annette, Marie, Cecile and Yvonne. They have swivel heads and five piece baby bodies. They each have all their fingers and toes with no repairs or repainting. All the clothes are original, some with original tags and shoes and socks too. On the back of their heads are raised letters that say Dionne and Alexander. On their backs in raised letters say Alexander. I have added newer metal name tags so you will know them apart. They come in their original basket with their original pink blanket, very old also. I have enjoyed them for many, many, many years. I think they will make you smile as they are quite cute. They have been stored in my curio as dust and odors are not an issue.
