Madame Alexander Dolls

This is an infused doll with pierced ears and a full beautiful red wig in its’ original set. She has lovely clear blue eyes with full lashes that work as they should. Her face coloring is nice and original it has not been enhanced. She is well strung and poses well. The only flaw I can find is a hip split high on her left leg. This could be repaired. Cissy is dressed in a tagged Madame Alexander pink check nylon dress from 1957. This dress is pictured on page #79 of the “Cissy Files”. It is described as being in the FAO summer and Christmas catalog. The dress is in Excellent condition crisp and clean with no holes, rips, tears, or odors, and a crisp tag. The doll is also wearing an original MA white taffeta tulle trimmed petticoat in excellent condition with no holes, rips, tears, or odors. The elastic is a bit stretched on the petticoat due to age but stays up well and there is some fraying at the back seam where the elastic meets the taffeta. The doll also comes in a pair original MA white taffeta lace trimmed panties. The panties do have the slits above the leg openings that are often seen from little hands taking them off of the doll and putting them back on. Other than this tha taffeta is clean and white and crisp. She will also arrive in a new pair of stockings and vintage MA pink high heel shoes accented with rhinestones. To complete her stunning 1950′s look she has a straw bandeau hat trimmed with pink and green flowers and a handbag to match made by “Richard Originals”. The cream de la cream is the jewlery including faux diamond earrings, bracelet, ring, and faux pearl necklace. Cissy likes her bling! The stand is not included. Gorgeous vintage 14 Marme doll. Eyes open and close as they should. She is super clean. No bad or sour smells. She has a small area on the right side of her head where you can see her scalp. I dont think this is a bald spot. I think the scalp is visible because if the way her hair is styled. So I believe all hair is present. I think her hair in the back should be covering the spot but its not. You can see that the hair is pulled back a little further on that side in the photos. Madame Alexander 21 Cissy Bride Doll Stunning! This lovely gal is absolutely stunning! Her auburn hair is in its original hair set with the hair net and jewels. Her face is nearly perfect with high color original face paint, all original lashes and green/blue sleep eyes. She is wearing a gorgeous bridal gown with an attached slip and matching veil. The gown is not tagged and was informed by a fellow beater that her bridal set was beautifully handmade from a McCall’s Fashion doll pattern dated 1956-57. Her bouquet is adorned with dainty silk white and light blue flowers and satin ribbons. She is wearing satin underpants and light blue heals. She also has her original earrings. She comes with her hatbox with accessories inside. There are no holes, rips, or tears on her gown or veil. No major stains but, the gown could use a light cleaning as it shows some little spots from years of storage and display. Her body looks nearly perfect and her knee’s bend well. One hip and one leg near the knee have some minor seam separation. Very common in these dolls. Nothing to indicate that it’s growing or in need of repair. She is display ready and would make a beautiful addition to your doll collection. Great gift for the doll collector in your life. Here is a stunning vintage 14 Margaret Rose composition. She has a beautiful soft pink gown. Some tiny holes in the outer layer of the dress but. You have to hold it up to see them. There is a little. Stretching at the seam under the left armpit. On the inside layer of the dress. There is a seam. Separation in the back of the dress at the ruffle thats. On the lower back. I dont believe her dress. Shoes or hat are original but they are from. The tag on her dress has been sewn. On the loose end its sewn on the dress on. She has a mohair wig. She has all hair. And eyelashes and her eyes will open and close. Her stringing is very good condition. She has extremely light crazing all over. Look closely to see it. She has several tiny cracks. On her upper back, under right armpit, left wrist, palm. Of right hand, bottom of her butt, top both hips in. The back, bottom right leg. Are tiny, you have to look closely to see them as. The back of her neck is marked ALEXANDER. She has a very small circular. Defect on her left wrist as well. We are a smoke free home. Unless I misrepresent something so be sure to ask questions. This is a very cute strapless dress, and it has lace trim at the top of the bodice, a black satin bow at center, and it closes at the back with two snaps. Underneath an attached crinoline gives the dress the fullness it needs, and Cissy is wearing ivory lace-trimmed panties, vintage hosiery & vintage black sandals. It’s waist length & fits her perfectly, and it has lovely beadwork at the neckline. She’s wearing her large “diamond” ring, has accessorized with black rhinestones… Teardrop earrings & a matching bracelet, and her “headband” and handbag each have floral bouquets, tying everything up in a beautiful bow!
