The doll is pictured on page #97 of the Cissy R. ” by Kiley Shaw wearing a “Birdcage dress. Need I say more her dolls are amazing. The doll is an early painted doll with beautiful face coloring, clear blue eyes, full eyelashes, rosy cheeks and ruby red lips. Her dress is the floral print yellow organdy with no birds. The dress pictured in Cissy Reference Rarities Restoration, is not this dress. This dress is a different version of the same dress that I had in my collection. It is with a heavy heart that I list this Cissy doll for sale as she is one of my favorites. The doll and dress are in excellent to near mint condition. The doll is very clean there are no cracks, splits, or odors. She does have rubs on the upper legs but in my opinion they are minimal. If you would like more pictures please ask. There are no holes, rips, tears, stains, or odors to the doll’s clothes. The Madame Alexander outfit includes the VHTF tagged dress, original panties, original taffeta tulle trimmed slip, and original nylons. The dress is crisp and lovely trimmed with val lace and all of the snaps are present. The slip is still crisp with no issues. The panties are excellent with no holes above the legs which are often found, but there is a pin dot size mark on the front of the panties. The nylons are minty no holes or runs slightly stretched on the top of one leg. The yellow shoes are replacements and a pearl necklace and bracelet are also included. She’s a beautiful vintage Madame Alexander 1965 24 Pussycat. Blonde hair never been cut. Has no marks or dirt on body. Blue eyes open and close and has all of their lashes. Vintage 1950s Madame Alexander Cissette doll. Tosca hair, triple stitched part. Wearing tagged red dress with white trim. Taffeta slip, red horsehair hat, red. & red high heel shoes. Presented here is a fabulous 1950′s Madame Alexander Cissette doll. She has tosca hair with a triple stitched part wig, still in most of the original lovely curls, the hair is pretty smooth with a nice sheen. The eyes open and close freely, hard upper lashes, painted under lashes, single stroke brows, coral mouth, nice coloring. The doll is hard plastic, bent knee, good strings, holds a pose well, marked on the back; MME Alexander, no splits. Tagged, it is red with white trim, circle skirt, buttons in the front and a square snap. She has a taffeta slip with lace edge, red taffeta panties, red molded plastic high heels with bows on the toes and a the most adorable red horsehair hat with flocked flowers on top. The clothing is all in excellent vintage condition. The written description is based on my opinion and observation of the item. Madame Alexander 1940s 14 Wendy Ann Composition Bride Doll. Her gown is tagged “Madame Alexander”. Wendy Ann wears her original white organza gown trimmed with white satin ribbon trim. The dress has an attached satin slip and underneath she wears original panties that do not appear to have ever been removed much like her stunning creamy leather mary janes and perfect socks. She also wears her original net wedding veil with lace edging and lily of the valley flowers. The dress and veil have a few issues. She is a straight leg non-walker and has amazingly bright face and body coloring. Her knees and hands both retain bright original blush. Her eyes are clear blue with full lashes. Her body and face do have crazing or cracks but no paint peeling. Her light brown or auburn wig is full and lovely but she has been given the Princess Leia treatment and has braided buns and braided bangs. These could be removed to restore her original curls but the braids are quite charming actually the way they are. In addition to her bridal ensemble, she came with a full slip that is beautifully made but doesn’t appear original. Presented here is a beautiful Cissy from 1960s up for sale. She has a gorgeous red wig and big green blue eyes that open and close. She has big red luscious lips that are her original lips. Her eyelashes are Gorgeous. She has a crack on her left leg. She also has a large scratch right between her eyebrows. She is wearing a fabulous gown of light blue taffeta with an over skirt of white and silver metallic lace. It has prong Rhinestones around the scallop hem. The The bodice has a net/tulle stole around the neck and a cloth flower at the center. In has long taffeta streamers going down the back The dress is tagged Madame Alexander. Underneath is a matching petticoat with layers of net , a lace trimmed hem woven with matching blue satin ribbon. She wears white taffeta panties and silver high heel shoes. She is absolutely beautiful. I want to keep her in my own collection but my husband said what are you doing with all these dolls. So I have to let some go. 1950′s Vintage Madame Alexander Cissy Bride. All original, no spa work. Beautiful blue eyes and tosca hair in hairnet. She is a strung doll with one piece slender arms and her sparkling faux diamond ring. She has no splits, cracks or odors. Her gown is in excellent shape. There are no flaws in it, but it has been in storage so shows some wrinkles. Her original two layer petticoat has has no damage but relaxed elastic. She has original minty panties and hose. The gown is tagged Cissy. Her shoes are silver replacements and her bouquet is a reproduction. She will hold a pose but would benefit from being restrung. I have her tied to her stand. She has her hair bar and original faux pearl earrings and her faux pearl necklace. There is a split in her veil that is hidden when displayed. See the photos and you can hardly see it. She is beautiful example of this gorgeous bride doll from the 1950′s. I will happily answer any questions or send more photos. I will insure and send with signature required for safety.
