Vintage 1957-58 Madame Alexander Cissette doll. Red hair, triple stitched part. Wearing tagged rare polka dot ruffled. With original white taffeta slip. Matching hat, panties, white strappy. Presented here is a fabulous 1950′s Madame Alexander Cissette doll. She has red hair with a triple stitched part wig, still in most of the original lovely curls. The eyes open and close freely, hard upper lashes, painted under lashes, single stroke brows, coral mouth, nice coloring. The doll is hard plastic, bent knee, good strings, holds a pose well, marked on the back; MME Alexander, no splits. She is wearing the original tagged dress, it has a full circle skirt, made of white cotton with blue polka dots, ruffled trim. She wears a matching straw hat with blue flocked flowers, bow and veil. She has her white taffeta slip, blue taffeta panties and white strappy high heels. The clothing is all in excellent vintage condition, minor age related flaws only. This a beautiful vintage Madame Alexander Cissette Doll, marked MME Alexander on back. Brown hair and gray sleepy eyes. Earing a tagged teddy, nylons, mommy made navy blue dress and high heels. Measures approx 9 H. Hair is beautiful, needs a little style. Face color is beautiful, has a small rub on one eyebrow as seen in pics. Knees bend, no cracks in seams. Arms need to be restrung. Featured here is a lovely vintage Madame Alexander Cissy doll dressed in a wonderful rare bright green summer shorts suit; it has matching jacket and pants and gold buttons. Beneath the short suit she wears another rare item — a vintage Cissy doll lace lingerie with satin ribbon straps and bodice accents, the ORIGINAL RHINETONES and rosettes. She wears vintage strappy elastic Cissy doll high heel shoes with cabbage roses on the toes, pink felt lining, and pearl white vinyl heels. These pearl high heel shoes are very rare and hard to find in good condition. The elastic is slightly stretched but still holds to her ankles very nicely; see photos. She will come with an amazing LARGE vintage tightly woven straw hat — in a lovely Asian shape. It fits her head perfectly, with an inner straw head ring to hold it in place; see photo. On her left hand she has a vintage “diamond” doll ring and carries a handmade green straw bag with large fabric flower and lovely long strap handles. In her purse she has a pair of vintage doll sunglasses — yellow frames with dark green sunglasses lens. They look adorable on her or carried in her purse. In her right hand she carries a vintage paper and wood hand fan, with painted flowers and silver paper accents. This lovely doll has a center stitched beautiful soft blonde wig with tight curling bangs; her hair is pulled back in a braid that holds her shoulder length curls in place at the nape of her neck under her hat. She has the beautiful hazel eyes of the vintage Cissy dolls, two stroke painted brown brows, all her dark brush eye lashes and the most beautiful salmon orange pink rosebud lips and rosy cheeks. NOTE: There is a small, half inch visible line crack on the right side of her neck; see last two photos. She came to me from her prior owner with this crack and I have no idea how long she has had it or how it was made. She has another small crack inside the inner left hip joint — se photo. It is not visible unless the hip is opened as I did for the photo. No props in the photos are included in this listing — only the dressed doll with her accessories. The saddle doll stand is NOT included. My home is SMOKE FREE and PET FREE. THis doll has no odor. She has been kept in my darkened doll room and shows no sign of any sun fading. The dress is accented with a “Richard Original” hat and purse. The pretty hat is adorned with cherries that compliments the cherry pattern in the dress fabric. What a sweet summer outfit for Cissy. To complete the ensemble the doll will arrive wearing vintage white Cissy heels accented with red rhinestones, vintage Madame Alexander taffeta Cissy panties in excellent condition no holes, replaced stockings no holes, also her red bead necklace and earrings, and a faux ruby gold tone ring. The doll herself is also in excellent condition. She is well strung and holds a pose. Her beautiful blue eyes have all of their original thick lashes. Her face is lovely with original blush and rosy lips. The only flaw the doll has is a small hip split high up on the inside of her right leg. The picture makes it look much larger than it is, and it doesn’t show when the doll is posed normally, as shown in the last photo. Thank you for looking at this beautiful doll. Pictures of #370, Sunny Day Outfit – The 8 doll has an auburn triple stitch wig with side curled ponytails – made by the Madame Alexander Doll Co. Her walker works smoothly, limbs fit perfectly and the doll has excellent banding. She stands on her own and poses, nothing loose. Her face coloring is very nice, her eyes blink, no stains or cracks on her body. Her knees bend – the doll itself is in excellent shape. The outfit is rare and complete. She has the original correct fuzzy bottom green side snap shoes with nylon socks. Her pink cotton short sleeve dress has its two studs and square snaps in back. Her undies match her dress. Her bonnet matches her apron. The bonnet has excellent elastic and both its studs are in place. There are no tears or problems with undies and bonnet. The tagged Alexander-kins in back is very good. This doll is outstanding and clean but she has had a few repairs on the clothes. The dress in back has been repaired as can be seen picture. Possibly a metal stand caused the problem. There are two small places on the apron that have been repaired and are hard to see. Possibly a pin or price tag. Thank you and feel free to ask questions. Straw hat with velvet and flocked flowers. Presented here is a beautiful vintage Madame Alexander Cissy doll. She has a hard plastic jointed body with vinyl jointed arms. Stitched part golden blonde hair in the original style, tied on the sides, curls in the back, has the original metal. Which is tarnished, still has the original gold metallic tie in the back. Sparkling amber sleep eyes that open and closes with thick hair lashes, painted under lashes, nice coloring, coral mouth, pierced ears with pearl drop earrings. There are a few light finish rubs in the joints and the neck under the head. Marked on the back of the head “ALEXANDER” under the hair. She is wearing her original tagged two piece pink and white striped. The skirt is a full circle, snaps in the back, the blouse is tailored with a collar and lace trim down the front, white buttons, puff sleeves. Underneath she has a hoop skirt. Taffeta panties and white vinyl high heels. The hat is fabulous, white straw pinned up on one side, pink velvet ribbon band with velvet and flocked flower trim. The clothing is all in excellent.
