We just picked up several Museum quality hard plastic Madame Alexander dolls. Dolls of this quality RARELY come up for sale! All are mint just like the day they were produced. All of these were originally from the Lee Sargent collection! Stunning Museum Quality 1954 Madame Alexander Victoria Me & My Shadow Series 18 Tall. There were seven different models of dolls. This Rare VICTORIA #2030c, was based on the styles of the 1850′s. Victoria is a rare and all original hard plastic 18. Madame Alexander Maggie face doll. Her hair is shiny and in the original set. She has clear eyes that open and close. Her Madame Alexander tagged dress is made of blue faille taffeta with side panniers and bustle drapery all trimmed in silk braid. The bust has original stuffing for nice shape. She has her original hat and flowers, shoes, stockings and undergarments. We have left the pictures large so you can zoom in to see all the details. Vintage 8″ 1954 Madam Alexander “Victoria” from the “Me and My Shadow Series #0030C. Please refer to pictures when reading description and feel free to ask any questions or request additional photos. Victoria is in mint condition and is all original. She is an 8, hard plastic, jointed, fully functioning straight-leg walker. She has tosca hair in the original set, adorned with white lace hat that has top knot of roses and forget-me-not silk flowers, tied on with a fuschia pink satin ribbon. Her makeup/coloring is vibrant with working blue sleep-eyes with full brush lashes. She is dressed in an 1850s style, slate blue, tagged “Alexander-Kins”, soft taffeta gown with side panniers and bustle drapery in the back etched with a silk braid. Her sleeves are trimmed with silk braid & tulle and she is carrying a fuschia pink velvet reticule. Underneath is a full one piece cream colored nylon petticoat and pantalettes with white nylon socks and black snap shoes. This is a vintage 1954 Madam Alexander “Victoria” #2030c from the “Me and My Shadow” Series in near mint condition. Victoria is an 18 hard plastic, jointed, fully functioning walker doll with blue sleep eyes. She has tosca hair in the original set, adorned with a delicate cream colored lace cap, topped with silk flowers, tied with a fuchia pink ribbon. Her makeup/coloring is vibrant. Her blue sleep-eyes have full brush lashes. (The cap does have some discoloration and is fragile from age). She is dressed in an 1850s style, slate blue, tagged, soft taffeta gown with side panniers and bustle drapery in the back – all trimmed with cream silk braid. Her sleeves are trimmed with silk braid & tulle and she is carrying a fuschia pink velvet purse. Underneath is a full one piece cream colored nylon petticoat and pantalettes with sheer stockings and black snap shoes. The pantalettes do have a small stain on the front, upper right-hand side, near the waist. A Madame Alexander 7.5 – 8 hard-plastic doll. She is named Little Victoria (#328) and is from 1953, the first year these little dolls were made. She has an unusual hairdo Full pigtails which I have not seen on these dolls I thought she was a Binny walker but she is 8 inches so I do not think so She may be a Wendy kins Not sure on that either Any information is appreciated. She is a straight leg walker doll but her legs need to be tightened just a tad. A nostalgic 19th Century ensemble worn by a little girl with a sensitive face. The beautiful dress has a black velvet bodice and underneath she wears a ruffled organdy petticoat. She has the prettiest straw hat with a green bow and flowers! She is wearing top-stitched Mary Jane shoes with fuzzy bottoms. This is such a beautiful doll and she is in such rare condition. She has lace trimmed tulle sleevelets, and netting stockings. She wears a light cream, taffeta, loop trimmed petticoat with a hoop that accentuates the bustle in the back, and attached lace-trimmed pantaloons in fantastic condition. Her shoes are lovely with almost flawless fuzz still on the soles. Her original lace hat is a light cream with original flowers and original pink satin ribbon that ties nicely at her chin. Her original pink velvet handbag is in nice condition, and she also carries a white and gold Madame Alexander hat box also in lovely condition. For your consideration I present to you this. Madame Alexander Little Victoria # 328. It is a very beautiful Straight Leg Walker doll. Walker mechanism works fine. She is able to hold a pose. All of the pictures I took without a stand. She measures 7.5 inches. Her body is hard plastic and is a lot heavier and is clean. She has Alex on her back. She wears a tagged “Madame Alexander” a dress with a black velvet bodice with two pink metal X on the center of the bodice. The sleeves are puff tule. The skirt has white and green vertical stripes and has 5 rows of braids just above the hemline; two are green, two are black and at center is a pink. She wears wears a crinoline and pantaloons with matching lace. The crinoline’s elastic, as is typical of the clothing of the period has lost some of it elasticity. Her shoes are black and have a “fuzzy” sole. She wears rayon socks. On her head there is a black hat with three white roses. (see photos 9 and 10).
