Vintage Madame Alexander Wendy bride doll. 14 inch Composition Doll Wendy In Bridal gown & Veil. She is also wearing gloves. Beautiful 14 inch doll. Made in the 1940′s. Jointed shoulders and hips. She is wearing a bridal gown, slip with attached panties, lace trimmed netting veil, center snap oil cloth shoes and gloves. Gown has snap closures. She is marked on the back of the head MME Alexander. Sweet doll for your vintage doll collection. She is all dressed for the wedding season. Her gown has age discoloration and holes. It does not have a tag. Her gloves and slip are in good condition other than normal age discoloration. Veil is in good condition but does have normal discoloration and some color fading on the beads. Shoes are in good condition. She has some crazing mostly on her face as pictured. Her legs seem to have been replaced. Her hair is in good condition. Her head is loose, but she still holds position. Vintage Doll, “Madame Alexander Scarlett O’hara” is her name, she is a composition doll, who carries herself well. She is a Vintage Doll from the 1930′s. She has black hair and blue eyes, her eyes open and close, when she’s laying down her eyes close. She is 14 tall and she is a collector doll. She has a couple of cracks on her face and on her neck, and her joints are slightly loose, her dress has some sun damage, and the shoes have new soles. Otherwise she is in great condition for her age, she sits up on her own. She has her original hair pins on both sides, and a red bow holding her hair in the back. She has 2 sets of lace pantalones on. She has no other marks or defects on her body but She is really pretty and has a dainty. I have other dolls that are vintage as well, please take a look.. MADAME ALEXANDER-KINS 8 DOLL Bend Knee Walker WENDY & Trunk VINTAGE 1957. This Brunette Wendy is simply adorable and has those rare dark eyes and hair. There are no splits on this doll and her walker still works. Her clothing is in good shape but could use a little clean up as well as the doll. Her wig has a little spot on the back where it shows through, just due to how it was originally glued. Her outfit is original as shown in a photo of a reference book I own by Patricia Smith called, Madame Alexander Collector’s Dolls. She’s in pretty nice shape but could use a few touch ups.
