We offer for your consideration a gently displayed 1950s, 1956, Madame Alexander kins 8 caracul soft vinyl baby Wendy Little Genius with her tagged Alexander kins christening gown and bonnet. She is a beauty and was never played with; she is from the original adult owner’s collection. She is a real beauty with bright and even coloration. The cheeks are nicely blushed. The unclouded bright blue eyes are easy open and close with intact eyelashes. The caracul hair is thick, full, and lovely. She is a drink and wet style baby doll. —Her eyes open and close easily. Her eyelids are a pretty light pink. Her eyebrows are unfaded and distinct. Her lips are unfaded, bright, and full. Her arms are somewhat loosely strung, and they domewhat hold a pose. She walks perfectly and beautifully. The elastic bands in her arms were remmoved, and they were replaced with new elastic cording. Her arms now pose beautifully. –This doll is one of hundreds of dolls we bought from an adult lady collector downsizing her estate. She is wearing a bright, off-white, stunning, very clean original tagged Alexander kins dress and a bonnet. Her bonnet has intact ribbon ties with some minor fraying at the ends. Both of her dresses enjoy well attached snap buttons. She also has her original clean bright white panties with stretchy elastic. Her pretty and displayable under slip dress appears factory fresh, or close to it, just like her christening gown. The under slip dress is pink snd makes her top gown appear light pink. She only has one sock. —You can see that the pink ribbons on her gown and bonnet are stunning and incredible additions. Her dress and outfit is free of issues, holes, or blemishes. She is close to factory fresh. —- We did not attempt to wash her. She appears clean and ready to display immediately. The doll and dress was stored in a cool dark room in a pet and smoke free estate and house. Vintage 1950′s Madame Alexander Binnie Walker doll. Original tagged organdy dress. Presented here is a vintage 1950′s Madame Alexander Binnie Walker doll in original tagged dress. The doll is 24, hard plastic with working walker. She has a beautiful Cissy face, nice coloring, thick upper lashes, painted lower lashes, bright light blue-green eyes (they match the dress). Her hair is auburn with bangs and most of the original curl. The doll is in excellent vintage condition, minor finish wear in the joints. She is marked; “Alexander” on the back of the head. The dress is lovely rayon/ silk organdy, it is a pale blue-green color with lace trim and original sash, cute puff sleeves, tagged. Her petticoat is adorable, original, pale blue taffeta, it is one piece and has a hoop in the skirt with a ruffled flounce. She has matching panties, they have some newer elastic woven in the waistband. She also wears her original rayon socks and flocked black ankle strap shoes. The dress has some small repairs and flaws to one side of the skirt, see the last photo, but overall the clothing is all in good vintage condition. The listing is for the doll and clothes shown only. A Madame Alexander 7.5 – 8 hard-plastic doll. She is named Little Victoria (#328) and is from 1953, the first year these little dolls were made. She has an unusual hairdo Full pigtails which I have not seen on these dolls I thought she was a Binny walker but she is 8 inches so I do not think so She may be a Wendy kins Not sure on that either Any information is appreciated. She is a straight leg walker doll but her legs need to be tightened just a tad. A nostalgic 19th Century ensemble worn by a little girl with a sensitive face. The beautiful dress has a black velvet bodice and underneath she wears a ruffled organdy petticoat. She has the prettiest straw hat with a green bow and flowers! She is wearing top-stitched Mary Jane shoes with fuzzy bottoms. This is such a beautiful doll and she is in such rare condition. This doll is one of the prettiest I have owned and I hope she gets a good home. This doll is one of the most sought after Alexander dolls and sells for 1200.00 and up. We offer for your consideration an undisplayed, or gently displayed, Madame Alexander Kin Wendy 8 doll, from 1955, in the original box. She is a beauty and was rarely removed from her box. The original cardboard insert is included. Her box has a label Baby Angel 480.—-You can see that her box is her original box, and she has made her home in this box for many decades. Her sleep eyes work perfectly. This doll’s highly blushed cheeks contrast beautifully with her pale coloration. Her full unfaded lips are lovely. Her factory fresh, or close to it, hair creates a stunning beauty. — —This doll is one of hundreds of dolls we bought from an adult lady collector downsizing her estate. Please note, she is as close to factory fresh as you can find for a 60 or 70 year-old doll. She does have a minor white spot in the bottom, inside part, of her right eye. I did not see it until I really scrutinized her. It looked like it was part of the natural color of her eye. — Her outfit is complete, intact, and unfaded. Her Alexander-kins tag is intact and bright. Her bright, but shows the most minor wear, halo is attached to her. Her harp is included but not attached. The fabric has become unattached from the inside of her wing. —Her walking mechanism works nicely, stiffly, as her head is turned her feet take tiny steps. Her plastic is free of any splits, issues, or blemishes. — —Her dress, slip, panties, and shoes are all crisp, clean, and displayable. The elastic on her panties have no stretch; the elastic would be crunchy if they were removed. She is tagged Alexander kin. The doll and box were stored in a cool dark room in a pet and smoke free estate and house. You can feel confident with us. — — Her clothing, hair, and body are as close to factory fresh as you can find for a vintage doll of this age. Her coloration is much more bright and blushed than she appears in her photos. Her head holds a pose beautifully. Her legs are well attached. Her arms are well connected, but they do not hold a pose. They may someday soon need restringing. — —- You can see the box is clean and mostly intact. The side shows an indent on the side. It is ripped along the two edges of the top lid. Plus, one part of the lid has a 2 rip along the top edge. It is taped across the one edge. You can see the minor edge wear along the outter edges of the lid and box. Amy is 14 tall, is made from hard plastic. She is a “walker” doll, meaning her head turns back and forth as her legs move. She has strawberry blonde hair, with curls on top of her head accented by a pink bow. She has a lovely face, with pinkish-red lips, light brown eye-shadow, applied upper lashes and painted-on lower lashes and eyebrows. She is marked “ALEX” on the back of her head. She was made between the late 1940s and mid 1950s, and has a “Margaret” face. Pink and white dress with pink ribbon belt. White petticoat with lace trim. White pantaloons with two rows of lace trim. Black mary jane shoes with bows & snaps – fuzzy bottoms. I’m not a Madame Alexander or antique doll expert, but I will try to describe her in detail. If you have any specific questions or need more detailed pictures of anything, please feel free to message me. Doll Body : Her body is in good to very good condition. Small flaws include: some light grey scratches and a small crack on the back of her left leg, which does not seem to effect movement (see pics). She has some light marks on her face, which may be removable, and well as what appear to be some small imperfections in the hard plastic (see close-up of face). Hairdo looks to be original/untouched, curls are tight, but the wig has pulled away from the side of her face a little, exposing the glue (see picture). Her head faces a few degrees to the right side when her legs are together, which seems common among the other walker dolls in other listings, but I mention it because I’m not positive it was like that originally. Outfit : Her pink and white dress is in good to very good condition. It is missing the “Amy” tag, and the original black belt has been replaced by a pink ribbon. Elastic on the pantaloons and petticoat is good, but rayon socks are little loose. There is some yellowing to the lace collar and cuffs, as well as to her undergarments. Socks have two small spots on them. From cleaning many antique linens, I believe this yellowing would probably be reduced or eliminated by soaking in Biz or Oxiclean. Comes from a smoke free home.
