This beautifully high colored face Madame Alexander is a Working Walker from 1953. The crown itself needs to be reattached, there is a piece in her hair that is part of the crown, please see photo. She does have a lazy eye, please see photos. But when I hold her by the waist and tap her feet from underneath the eye straightens out. But still can go back to being lazy. It does not distract from her gorgeous face beautiful hair spectacular grand studded coat and full skirt. Her diamond, LOL from the left ear needs to be glued back in. Her slip is great the hoop is around it should be. She has her original hat box (curlers & comb) , Crown, Earrings, coat, dress, nylons, panties, shoes. Front piece of original box that says Lady Churchill and 20200. So she is great to display. Please look at all photos and zoom in for best details. O any damage with her outfit or with doll. 1 owner, adult collector. This Bride #735 is a beautiful definition of an excellent new condition bent-knee 8 Madame Alexander Doll made in the 1960s. The detail emphasizes her simple elegance as she prepares for her special wedding day! Her lips are beautiful shade of pink and cheeks still preserve a touch of their rosy glow despite her age. The skirt of her white dress is double tulle for volume. The outer layer of tulle and her veil are trimmed in a beautiful Chantilly-style lace in a scallop design. Her bodice is single layer tulle, accented with the same lace over her shoulders to a V at the front waistline. The sleeves are also single layer tulle in a mutton-chop design, which is a puff-sleeve to the elbow, then straight and tight to the wrist. Underneath is a white muslin petticoat and white satin panties; the panties are trimmed in a different white lace. Her ivory satin-textured cloth slippers have a diamond accent. On her left thigh is her garter, a pink flower with a diamond accent. The garter elastic is not loose, its perfect. She carries a bouquet of white flowers with double white satin ribbons tied in a bow at the wrist, then twisting streamers to her hem. The bouquet is actually held on with the wire cord. Her crowning glory is her veil! The headband has a single tiara band of white flowers. The tulle veil falls slightly shorter than the hem, showcasing the veil lace above the hem lace. The veil is held on with pins, as was used in the 60s before the use of elastic for the head attire. Her blond hair is in the quintessential Alexander flip and, fantastically, is still in its pristine factory hairdo. The box is authentic as well. The box says Madame Alexander NY Bride 735. Offered here is an exquisite blonde Madame Alexander Binnie Walker doll, with working walker mechanism. She stands 18 inches tall and has her ORIGINAL blonde wig in its ORIGINAL set, with tight curls and short bangs. She is dressed in a striped vintage day dress with fitted waist and large self bow at the neckline. This style was very popular in the late 1940s and early 1950s. The dress has cap sleeves and two buttons at the back; the skirt flares nicely. She has a beautiful pair of vintage panties with tiny satin bows and lace trim, and a vintage cotton slip also edged in vintage lace. She wears vintage cream colored satin ankle strap shoes that snap, with vintage nylon ankle socks. She has a lovely vintage cream and black straw bonnet; this hat is trimmed in black grosgrain ribbon and has black grosgrain ties. It features vintage Forget-me-not fabric flowers on each side of her head where the ties attach. It is a beautiful vintage shape, with a slightly squared off brim in the front and fits her head perfectly. I have added a pair of white nylon wristlet gloves, trimmed in lace, and a little brown leatherette suitcase which opens and closes with a snap. She is all ready for a trip to come to your house or for a visit to the big city! This lovely doll has the wistful Binnie Walker face, with rosebud lips, rosy cheeks, open and close eyes, brush lashes and painted brows. She is hard plastic and clearly very durable. There a few line scuffs around her midriff from play or a doll stand — shes came to me this way — but other than this is is superb condition for her age. I take great care to wrap and pack my dolls so that they do not move around in transit. No props in the photos are included — only the dressed doll and her accessories. My home is SMOKE FREE and PET FREE and she has been kept in a darkened doll room on display and never played with. She shows no sign of any sun fading and has no odor. She would make a wonderful addition to your collection of vintage Madame Alexander dolls. Let me present to you, the serious Alexander collector, a rare & hard to find BINNIE WALKER. She is mint in my opinion. She is all original right down to her shoes & socks. Her red taffeta dress is vibrant & crisp. Her original nautical felt jacket has all the original golden buttons, anchors & stars just like new. Binnie’s head turns when she walks as it should. Her rooted skull cap is thick and in original set. She’s even still wearing her original felt sailor styled hat. Not sure if the pompom was originally red but it is rather pink now. I have not undressed this doll but added a couple photos of hip joint and bottom side. This may be a once in a lifetime chance to own a 24 Binnie Walker in this condition. Margot is an all original 14 Madame Alexander Ballerina from 1951. She is a straight leg walker and has a blonde wig, blue eyes, thick lashes and bright original face color. She wears a pink tulle and satin tutu with rhinestone appliqués on the bodice. In her hair she wears a cluster of original flowers and original hair net. I don’t think her shoes and stockings have ever been removed. She even has her original arm bands, which are so often missing on this doll. The tulle dress is one layer and then there is another layer of tulle attached to the bloomers. The dress is tagged “Madame Alexander” and is crisp and unfaded. No stains on her dress. She is so crisp and mint but let me note a few items: Wig is lifting on the left side of her face. Shoes have darkened at the edges, I imagine from the aging of the glue that holds them together. She has a rub on her left arm right at the socket and a few light marks on her chest right below the neckline of her dress, not visible when dressed. Her eyes open and close smoothly but every so often the left eye sits back further in her head than the right eye when closed. It does not happen every time and has not happened when open.
