24 Binnie Walker is in very nice, all original condition, no rubs or breaks. Blue sleep eyes that have all their lashes. Blonde hair in factory original curls. Arms are strung just right so they are easy to pose. Tagged dress and pinafore is crispy clean, no stains or holes. Lace trim cotton underwear with a yellow bow on each leg. Original rayon socks, black faux suede side snap shoes and straw hat with original flower applique and chin strap. Back of head is marked “Alexander”. When you move her head from side to side her legs walk although they are wobbly. The hard plastic body of the doll has a bisque like quality and is in good condition with no splits or cracks. However, please note that she has a couple of tiny marks on her tummy (see photo #12). She has beautiful dark sleep eyes that move freely, beautiful blushed cheeks, and perfect ruby red lips. Bo Peep’s triple stitched wig is styled in its original coiffure, with perfect curls and no missing or cut strands, etc. Adorning Bo Peep’s head is her original open weave bonnet that is accented with a large bouquet of flowers. The hat ties at the neck with a black ribbon and I believe was never removed from her head until I removed it to take the photos. Please note that the hat, while very stable, does have a few missing strands in the weave of the hat (see photo #10). Tied to her right wrist is a pretty flower bouquet and her purple shepherds staff. Also attached to the bottom of the staff is a small sheep that is very worn. A reproduction Madame Alexander tag is tied to Bo Peep’s left wrist. This beautiful doll wears a tagged pink taffeta gown with flower print side panniers. The pink taffeta skirt appears to have been ironed, is faded, and has a tiny pin size hole under the left pannier. The bodice of the dress in in great condition and a little black cumber-bun that is accented with pink felt flowers adorn her waist. Under the gown, Bo Peep wears a cotton slip and pantaloons; both with tight waist elastic. Other than the fading and tiny hole, there are no other holes, tears, or stains on the clothing. Little Bo Peep also wears original socks and black side snap shoes that have fuzzy bottoms. The doll does not come with a stand or an original box. NOTE: The wrist tag is a reproduction. Featured here is a beautiful vintage Madame Alexander Binnie Winnie Walker doll dressed as a bride on a saddle stand. She will come to you as dressed, with the saddle stand so that she will be ready to display on arrival. The gown and veil are an early 1950s original American Character bride gown with matching veil. The veil is in amazing condition for its age, with no holes, rips, tears or stains. It has a lace cap with pleated lace around the cap, and it is pinned to her hair with doll bobby pins. She carries a bouquet of resin call lilies handmade from the Orient. She will come to you with the graduated vintage pearl necklace and handmade lace finger gloves, as shown. I have added replacement light tan ankle strap leatherette shoes, with brown stitched leatherette soles. She has a sweet matching vintage cotton slip and cotton panties — both trimmed in soft vintage lace. She stands 24 inches tall and her “walker” mechanism works well, when you move her legs, her head turns from side to side. Her lovely light eye color is enhanced by the beautiful ivory bridal gown and veil. She has her original red lips and light blush on her cheeks. Her hair is the original strawberry blonde wig in its original set with curls and wavy bangs. One leg is slightly lighter in color than the other — see the photo of her legs, with her slip and panties. There are also a couple small holes in her vintage satin gown, but they are hidden under the vintage lace overskirt (see last photo). The lace overskirt features little bows and a scalloped hem, which rises and dips in lovely long points over the satin gown. The dress is edged in the same soft vintage lace as the veil. The bridal cap is lace and trimmed in pleated soft lace; and the cap is pinned to her wig with doll bobby pins. The veil hangs beautifully from the cap and struts out around her as she stands. I have had this doll kept in my SMOKE FREE and PET FREE home in a darkened doll room on display, and she has never been played with. I take great care to wrap and pack my dolls so that they do not move around in transit. No props in the photos are included in this listing, only the dressed doll with her accessories as shown and her vintage metal saddle doll stand. This beautifully high colored face Madame Alexander is a Working Walker from 1953. The crown itself needs to be reattached, there is a piece in her hair that is part of the crown, please see photo. She does have a lazy eye, please see photos. But when I hold her by the waist and tap her feet from underneath the eye straightens out. But still can go back to being lazy. It does not distract from her gorgeous face beautiful hair spectacular grand studded coat and full skirt. Her diamond, LOL from the left ear needs to be glued back in. Her slip is great the hoop is around it should be. She has her original hat box (curlers & comb) , Crown, Earrings, coat, dress, nylons, panties, shoes.
