Madame Alexander Dolls

This 8 strung Madame Alexander doll is from the early 1950′s. She’s been very gently played with. Hair is in its original set, bit mussed. Body is fine but does have a few dark spots by ankles probably from the black shoes she wore. She’s well strung and a type of heavier doll made in the early days. Her makeup is fine and eyes open and close easily. She comes with her original black side snap shoes (snaps are working). The clothes are not tagged and in played with shape. 1950′s Madame Alexander 20 tall Cissy doll. She is wearing a long black felt dress, matching jacket, white shirt, black high heel shoes and several layers of frilly under garments-does not appear to be an original outfit but clean and attractive. She has reddish brown hair with bright blue open and close eyes and vinyl jointed knees and elbows. The doll is vg/ex condition and has been in storage for many years. Face has some light discoloration around the nose area mostly on the cheeks. Head, arms, legs, knees and elbows still move well. Legs have some moderate soiling and discoloration as does the neck. Marked Alexander on the back of the head at bottom. Foreign according to country.
