Madame Alexander Dolls

This is Rosamund Bridesmaid by Madame Alexander in 1951. The description in my reference book for this doll follows: Dressed in frothy gown of net, bound with satin and satin bodice. Two fluffy skirts cascade to her feet over an underdress to match. Trimmed with satin streamers and rosebuds. Her head dress is straw lace with rosettes of pink rosebuds over each ear. (clothes did come in assorted colors). This reference is in Madame Alexander Collector’s Dolls ed. My doll seems to be complete even though I’m at least the second owner. She has the most beautiful color of hair- almost an auburn brunette. Most importantly- NO HARD PLASTIC ODOR! At sometime she did have something pinned to her dress so you will see the small indentations on the bodice. She is really a gorgeous doll! Please feel free to ask questions! Cissette Bride Doll from 50s. Dress Is Off White from Age. Bridal Ensemble Has 3 Tiny Splits. On Tulle, Front Bottom, as in Last Picture. Pearl Earrings, Pearls on Sleeves, Diamond Ring. Both Arms are On Loose Side. But Dress Holds Arms Up. Elastic Tight on Panties and Slip Still Stiff. Eyes Open and Close. No Slits on Body. The Front Strap on Shoes is Loose.
