Madame Alexander Dolls

Madame Alexander 12″ Hamlet #1312 and Ophelia #1313 1992 Romance Collection MIB Description: For your consideration from the Romance Collection of Madame Alexander, are 12″ MIB Hamlet and Ophelia. These beautiful dolls may be in the rare/htf classification; One does not see them often at all. Hamlet is attired in period costume of the day-gentleman’s clothes of black and silver. Ophelia wears a gorgeous lace over pink long dress with lime green long coat and hood, appliqued with green and pink flowers which are actually thistles. Their outfits are simply gorgeous-please see pictures for details. Their hair retains a good original set with a few wisps out of place, and eyes of both dolls toggle well. Cheeks have only slight blush. Hang tags on both dolls are excellent and actually list the other dolls in this Collection, the most famous and more common of which are Romeo and Juliet. Her box is in excellent condition with minor shelf wear on the bottom. His box has more wear including some on the top and corner of the lid. Names and numbers on the box label are faint but readable. I’m an Alexander collector, who has had to downsize. The dolls were carefully stored in smoke and pet free home. You don’t see these very often.

Winnie is not mint. She was found in her original box with top. She had mold/mildew over her. I removed most from face arms and legs. Her eyes have some color change to them. She has an odor (if you put you nose right up to her leg for instance). Not sure if she was really cleaned it would recede. Some minor blemishes on her face close up. Her outfit is mint. As well as hair bow, slip, underwear (with blue ribbons on them) and shoes and socks. She is in correct box. Her full slip and dress are both tagged. She is 25 which is a rare size. She has such wonderful auburn ruby red hair. I believe she was unplayed with.

Lot of 3 wigs for new Cissy dolls in Madame Alexander hat box. Doesn’t look like ever being worn. Some wear and tear to the box.

Rare 8″ Madame Alexander 2008 “Chasing Fire-Flies – Jack 49135 W/ Box & COA /50. Made Exclusively for the Fire-Flies Golden Age of Dolls Convention. He comes with his original box, COA, outfit, slippers, and jar of fire-flies. Jack has been removed from his box and displayed in a glass cabinet for many years. The handle on the jar of fire-flies has cracked over time as shown in the pictures. There was a rubber band added to help hold it in place. See pictures for condition and zoom in for a close-up look. Doll was a limited edition of 275 produced for the Madame Alexander Doll Club Convention in 2005. Doll is complete with outfit, wrist tag, paperwork, and accessories. Box is in good condition with only mild display wear. Doll in photos is the doll you will receive. Doll has never been removed from box.
