EXTREMELY RARE COMPOSITION CONDITION: Her molded composition body is entirely free of “crazing” or spiderweb cracking. Eyelids, limbs, facial blushing, and red lips are crisp and vibrant. ORIGINAL FOOTWEAR: Includes her factory-original metallic silver oilcloth side-strap shoes with ornate square buckles and her original ribbed knit rayon socks. HAIR & WIG: Original blonde mohair wig in clean condition. CONDITION NOTES: The composition skin and outfit are in exceptional vintage shape. The only notable antique blemish is expected “crystallized/blown” clouding in her sleep eyes, a universal chemical aging trait for this plastic compound era. The eye mechanism is complete with original eyelashes intact. Her dress is perfect with the exception of small tears in the net at the bottom front. She has original panties. Soft Brunette mohair curls with bangs and delicate pink flowers at each side. Wearing tagged wedding gown with palest pink/cream bodice trimmed with tatting and lace ruffle, tulle yoke, pale pink tulle overskirt with lace borders, pale pink tulle sleeves, and veil with crown of flowers, pink taffeta underskirt and panties, stockings, cream front-snap shoes and carrying bouquet with silk streamers. This gorgeous and RARE Madame Alexander doll in in good vintage condition, made in 1950, and has exceptionally rosy cheeks, rose red lips, clear blue sleep eyes, and good overall condition. She is featured in THERIAULTS famous doll auctions. This lovely doll is very hard to find in this PETITE SIZE and in this condition. Her mohair wig is a brunette red/brown in its original set. It could use a bit of restyling. Her Hard Plastic body is in great shape with next to nothing in terms of paint scuffs, loss, chips, or cracks. The dress is in wonderful shape, still sturdy and not faded. The lace on dress is close to perfect, has no tears or holes. The lace on under sleeves, yoke and overskirt is delicate but still very nice. There may be a tiny spot on back of gown, but hardly noticeable. The square snaps are all intact, may need a stitch or two in places. NOTE: The pink veil has holes and tears in fabric. It is a bit limp and faded and there are stains that are present. It may be rust. The floral crown on top is also limp. She is wearing very delicate stockings and her shoes are nice. The bouquet may have been added somewhere in her history, otherwise she is all original. She will come with a stand. Her stringing is good. No box or wrist tags.
