The doll measures approximately 8 tall. The doll retains her original United Artists hang tag. The doll looks to have been played with very little. The face paint is lovely, and the outfit is great. The outfit has several small stains, the one on the back is from being in contact with a doll stand for many years. The walker mechanism works well. This doll is one of the prettiest Alexander Kins I have seen. She is an obviously unplayed with doll who has spent her life in the box. The dolls color is fantastic. She has a nice matte finish, highly blushed cheeks, wonderful all over complexion and dark pupiless eyes. Her hair is shiny, tight to her head and in a special style adorned with a spray of beautiful flowers. Her dress is still very white and has swiss dots all over it and around the waist is a blue bow that is still factory tied and beautiful. The dress is free of any stains, tears, holes or odors. Under her dress she has a organdy long slip with tight stretch elastic. Her bloomers are also perfect with tight elastic and no issues. She wears blue fuzzy bottom shoes that show no wear. The only thing missing is her diploma which must have gotten lost at some point through the years. The box is in good condition and just shows just normal wear from age. It is correctly labeled 399 and comes with her booklet and neck brace. All together this is a truly fantastic doll that will be a star in your collection! She is 8tall, made of hard plastic and is fully strung from 1953. She has a triple stitch blonde wig in the original braid style, green eyes, rosy cheeks and red lips. There is a tiny flaw on her left cheek and her stringing is a little loose. She is ready for you to dress. She has Vivid facial coloring and gorgeous blonde hair, and is All Original. The doll measures approximately 20 tall. She has a plastic body and vinyl arms. The doll looks to have been played with very little. The face paint is lovely, and the outfit is nice. Please note that there is paint wear on the eyelids, and what looks like a tiny bit of dried material by her right eye. This looks like something that is on the plastic, and not paint loss. I think this may clean off, but I have not tried. She actually needs a light cleaning, as she has sat for many years. The top of her hat is soiled, and there is a little bit of flaking to the flowers. She has spots on her feet, that look like is on the legs and not the nylons. It looks like the straps of her heels may be stretched. Her dress may be lightly soiled, but I nee no holes, pulls or tears. The hand tag is stained. The box is very rough, soiled, stained, faded, torn, taped etc.. Fair condition at best. This is a very nice old doll, with great display potential. This little cutie seems to be all original & in good condition. Her body is marked Alex & the dress has the original Alexanderkins label. Her little face looks a little faded but her hair is in good condition & in the original set. Her head turns when I move the legs, so I believe she is known as a walker. She has little brown eyes & they open & close perfectly. She has a bit of shelf dust but otherwise she is a real nice doll.
