Marked Baby Jane MME Alexander. The doll was made to represent Juanita Quigley, a 1930′s celebrity child film star. The doll features a brown wig, brown glass sleep eyes with full and painted upper lashes, an open mouth with four teeth and blushing dimpled cheeks. Her eyes look cloudy. The doll features a jointed neck, shoulder and hip. The doll is dressed in the original dress with a braided lace collar, pink ribbon. She also has a one piece slip – underpants, original socks and shoes. The button is pinned on the dress with a photo of Juanita Quigley, the button says, The nations favorite. A baby Jane doll. Everything on this doll is original. The problem was my mother had her heart set on a Shirley Temple doll so she never played with this doll. Madame Alexander 21″ “VAMP Cissy! San Jose MA Doll Club 2005 Convention Cissy Event Table Centerpiece Doll! Certificate of Authenticity: 6 of a Limited Edition of 60 dolls! Cissy is the ultimate flapper Vamp with her short bob hairdo and her lilac satin chemise heavily beaded and embroidered. What flapper is without a feather boa? ! Cissy’s is a stunning lime green–absolute perfection! The color combination is gorgeous! She was never displayed. She has some light staining on her back from the Cissy label and some more on the back of her upper right arm near the shoulder socket. The outfit is double tagged: the top one is photographed and underneath that is a hand numbered tag with 06/60. Both her wrist tag and her COA are signed by the MA doll Company designer Maria Cruz.
