1935 Mme Madame Alexander 16 Composition Baby Jane Doll Everything Original

Marked Baby Jane MME Alexander. The doll was made to represent Juanita Quigley, a 1930′s celebrity child film star. The doll features a brown wig, brown glass sleep eyes with full and painted upper lashes, an open mouth with four teeth and blushing dimpled cheeks. Her eyes look cloudy. The doll features a jointed neck, shoulder and hip. The doll is dressed in the original dress with a braided lace collar, pink ribbon. She also has a one piece slip – underpants, original socks and shoes. The button is pinned on the dress with a photo of Juanita Quigley, the button says, The nations favorite. A baby Jane doll. Everything on this doll is original. The problem was my mother had her heart set on a Shirley Temple doll so she never played with this doll.
