Madame Alexander Dolls

RARE BEAUTIFUL 16 1957-58 MADAME ALEXANDER ELISE FLORAL WREATH BRIDE. Up for sale is a very nice Madame Alexander Elise bride doll from the mid fifties. She has been stored in a glass case. She has on a beautiful white gown that has a embroidered design around the bottom. The only damage I find is a very small hole inside one of the embroidered ovals in the back. Her garter, slip, hose, panties and shoes are also original and in good condition except for the damage to one heel as shown in the closeups. They are being held on by small rubber bands. There are a couple of tiny spots on the slip. Her blonde hair still is in original do. Face color is nice and eyes are working good with full eyelashes. She has soft vinyl jointed arms but the rest of the body is hard plastic with jointed knees and ankles. Good shape with the arms and head a tiny bit loose. One earring is missing. Her flowers are replacements but I think are vintage Alexander. It is in good condition with no holes but some of the little flowers are coming loose and are pinned on. The last picture is just showing a matching Cissette and Elise doll that are in separate auctions. This is a 21 Gorgeous Madame Alexander Cissy doll #2232. She is from the 1950s I think 1958. She has on her original tagged rare and hard to find purple Butterfly shirt dress with three quarter sleeves that snaps in the back with all snaps. Rhinestones, velvet and lace accent the front of the dress. She has panties and the correct flocked and tulle slip that came with this outfit. She has her nylons and original lavender shoes, beautiful and not stretched out. She has her original dark purple straw hat with flowers and tulle trim that ties around her neck. She has a beautiful face with clear eyes, all her top and bottom painted lashes, good brows, pink lips and rosy cheek color(upon a closer look she has a very small mark between her ear and cheek on her face that may or may not come off). She has shiney brunette hair in original set, the back has fallen some. Her rhinestone earrings are original but I added the ring that is white crystal with real blue sapphires on each side. I have had her in my collection for a very long time and have never undressed her but every thing looks good. A truly wonderful Cissy doll. The dress is nice and crisp with no stains, tears or repairs that I can see. She is an almost perfect example of this doll and outfit. Her head is really loose so Im sure she will need restringing. She is 60 years old but a really nice doll. I have not collected dolls for a while so might have missed something important to you, so please ask questions.
