For your consideration a RARE and HARD to FIND Alexander Kin “Sunny Day” or Wendy Dressed for a Sunny Day. Wendy is blonde, Bend Knee Walker. She wears a pink cotton dress with collar an trimmed with fancy white trimming. Covering the skirt of her dress is an cotton floral/print apron lined with pink organdy. She wears green leathery shoes with snaps at the sides and fuzzy bottoms. Her beautiful hair is covered with a matching sun bonnet, strap was detached from one side (pic #9). Take a look at the detail of the fancy apron which is scalloped and lined instead of an ordinary hemline. Her box is not mint, an attempt was made to glue it but it didn’t work. Here is 21 inch 1950S Cissy in very nice condition no breaks no splits no odors. Shes wearing her tagged undergarment that says “Cissy”. Her dress is also tagged it say Madame Alexander. She has full lashes but not as thick as they should be , but still looks good. She has articulated legs and arms and is strung tight from head to toe. Her hair is thick and curly but needs styled. Sometimes eyes close sometimes they dont. She stands in a pose on her own. Shes packed away if you are interested I’ll make sure I check her and give exact details pretty sure she dont. The dress is tagged, clean and in excellent condition. The top of the bodice has the original trim. She is wearing black gauntlet fingerless gloves, which are exclusive to this outfit. She also wears her original rhinestone drop earrings and bracelet. Underneath the gown is a full length nylon crinoline slip with ruffled tulle underneath. She is also wearing her original taffeta panties, nylons, and black heels, all of which are in very nice, clean, condition. She originally came with a white faux fur stole, which the owner lost over the years. I have included a Madame Alexander Black Velvet cape. The doll is made from infused plastic and has beautiful cheek color, clear blue eyes and full lashes. Her hair is clean, shiny and in the original up-do style. She retains the blush to her knees and there a no seam splits or other flaws on her body. I have included several pictures to show the condition. Please enlarge them for the best view. Beautiful 1950′S MADAME ALEXANDER CISSY with Tagged Floral Dress. She has brown curly hair in the original hair set in her original hairnet. She has multi stroke eyebrows, peach lips, green sleep eyes with all her lashes, lower painted lashes and nice cheek blush. There are no cracks or splits to her body though she has a faint discoloration at her waist from the elastic in her slip. She has her original tagged hard to find Cissy floral dress with white lace trim on the sleeves. Her outfit comes with her original yellow slip, yellow satin panties with lace trim. The elastic is still very nice on both the slip and undies. She also has her original nylons and black high heels with a pink base. She comes wearing a vintage matching pearl necklace with gold and real diamond clasp, pearl earrings, and pearl bracelet. This is a very lovely Madame Alexander Cissy with a hard to find original clothing. Cissy will make a wonderful addition to your doll collection and displays nicely. Vintage 1939 Mme Alexander 18 Composition Sonja Henie Doll Original NM. Scroll down for larger views. This doll is Sonja Henie, made by Madame Alexander around 1939. She is 18” high, jointed at the neck, shoulders & hips. Sonja has a gorgeous face with bright original coloring, brown sleep eyes, intact sable lashes, painted lashes below her eyes, gray eye shadow, feathered brows, an open smiling mouth w/six teeth, very rosy cheeks, and cute dimples. Her face is pristine. No crazing, cracks or rubs. Her eyes are also completely clear. She wears her original golden-blonde human hair wig, still in the original set with curls, clips, and pins intact. The wig is gorgeous. The body is also excellent, made of high-quality composition with rosy knees and hands. Again, original paint without crazing or other problems. Her stringing is fine. Sonja wears her original tagged red velveteen skating outfit. Decorated with gold sequins, with an attached net petticoat, and red satin panties. On her head is a cute matching hat/bow. The outfit is clean, bright, and odor-free. She also wears her original gold foil ice skates with original ties. One skate has half the blade missing, absolutely the only flaw on the flawless doll. For your consideration a Madame Alexander 1955 #473. Juliet is made of Hard Plastic and is a Straight Leg Walker. Walker functions as it should. She wears a ivory/off white brocade gown and an overdress. I remove the dress to ensure that it was in a perfect condition. I found no tears, stains, or discolorations. It has not been laundered and all the trimmings as in excellent condition. She wears gold slippers which with ties and fuzzy soles. She wears her hair in the now famous “Juliet” style.
