Cissy is clean, no splits or cracks, no odors, and no chews. She is newly restrung to her head and arms. She has light rub on her inner thighs. She has her original auburn updo wig that is in it’s original set. She has nice arms with no rips. She has a wonderful matte finish and she has had some blush applied. She has had some repaint to her chest and shoulders from fading from wearing a gown on display for many years. Please examine the nude photo closely to see how perfectly her new paint matches her original. She has beautiful blue eyes with full lashes. She has no earring holes. She stands and poses wonderfully. Cissy is wearing a new theater outfit. She has on a lovely longer length velveteen coat with a wide collar. It has a double sided satin red ribbon at the neckline. The coat is lined with the matching charmeuse fabric of the dress. Dress is lined in the bodice with black organdy. It has a dropped waist. 1 diamond stud holds pleat in center bodice. A satin black slip with 2 layers of black tulle. Vintage Cissy panties, and new black elastic shoes and nylons. She also wears black, new, sheer gloves. She is ready for an evening out! Fabulous composition, closed mouth Jane Withers – friend (or perhaps nemesis) to Shirley Temple. She has some crazing various places on her face, but not noticable on display. Crazing is practically a given with composition. You either love it or run from it. There’s an indentation spot on the back of her arm that looks to have been from the factory or perhaps a repair by someone (not me). I made her little beret, as she would likely have had one. I also bought the book separately, to go with her. Polished canvas shoes are wonderful, but someone put an inventory sticker on the sole of one. When I try to remove, it starts to tear the sole. I’m going to remove it and repair any discoloration. The little dress is lovely in color brightness and condition. I only see some scattered holes in her white cotton onesie (slip and attached panties). Jane’s mohair wig is perfection! It still retains its waves and curls. It’s almost a wine color. Very pretty vintage 24 hard plastic Winnie Walker walker doll. Her dress is tagged. I believe the dress was blue and has faded. She is all original but I think her bonnet is added. All hair and eyelashes are present. Her eyes open and close as they should. Her walking mechanism still works great. Her body and clothes are clean. Nice bright rosey cheeks. A beautiful Madame Alexander 1950s Cissy doll. She’s wearing a custom fall outfit, with hat and with a sparkly black petticoat. She is wearing original pearl dangling earrings. Cissy is strung tight and is jointed at neck, shoulders, elbows, knees and hips. She has gorgeous high color in the face. She has full lashes and eyes that open and close as they should. She has no breaks, splits or odors. She has a bit of glossy varnish on the upper backs of her arms that I have NOT been brave enough to try and remove. I’m the original owner and was allowed only to take her out from time to time and look at her. She has all of her original clothes down to her ruffled panties which I didn’t photo to protect her modesty… Her seamed stockings are perfect with no snags or runs. She is wearing said panties, stockings, slip, blouse, coat, hat and red wedge sandals. As you would expect at the age of 60+ her elastic isn’t so elastic anymore mine either! I had her joints repaired some years back so she is currently intact. Not sure if she is Lissy or Cissy.
