HANSEL IS COMPOSITION AND GRETEL IS HARD PLASTIC (SHE WAS MADE DURING THE FACTORY TRANSITION FROM COMPOSITION TO HARD PLASTIC DOLLS) Hansel has a Margaret OBrien, endearing face with smokey, gray eye shadow! Beautiful, wavy, thick mohair wig! Plump coral colored, rosebud lips. Vibrant lower painted lashes and feathered eye brows. Full, thick, upper lashes and very nice cheek color. Hansel wears an endearing long, nylon striped, stocking hat! His bolero jacket and pants are made of blue, gabardine material His white, pique shirt (with Peter Pan collar) is tagged in the rear, Hansel, Madame Alexander, NY. His shirt is attached to his pants with four, square snaps in the rear. Hansels tie, waistband, and pant-side-bands, are detailed with vibrant, plaid, yellow, emerald-green, and candy-red rayon! He wears his original, long, rayon, stockings. His shoes are black leatherette enhanced with ribbon bows. Gretel possesses a very sweet, demure face. She has a peaches and cream complexion. Sleep-eyes with vibrant, feathered eyebrows and thick, full upper lashes. Deep, smokey brown eye shadow enhances her dramatic eyes. Plump, dark, rose bud lips. She wears a coral jumper dress. Her crimson rose print blouse on solid blue background is attached. Her sleeves and neck is trimmed with Belgium Val Lace. There are three, square snap closures in the rear. Her crisp, original, organdy pinafore, which is so often missing, is trimmed with blue and pink flowered embroidery! Her dainty under garments are enhanced with the M. She wears a full, muslin slip trimmed in wide, scalloped, Swiss lace. Her pantaloons are trimmed in wide, scalloped Swiss lace as well. She wears her original, long, rayon stockings. Gorgeous Original Vintage Madame Alexander dark blonde. Cissy doll in 1959 Fancy Decor Queen outfit. The dress is tagged but the tag is faded. This is the earlier produced doll that still has the bending arms. The later dolls from this run had the. Strung Cissy’s with straight arms. She is in very good condition with only a couple of small stains on the dress and a dingy sash. She has the special wig with two bangs and a metal bar. Her wig is very full. Her slip is a ivory buckram material. No stockings with original panties and shoes. Her gloves have a few wear holes. Her crown is in very nice condition, specific to this outfit. She only has one bracelet, and a thin pearl necklace. No other jewelry present. Her body needs a good cleaning. She has one small split on one knee. My dolls are all around 50-80 years old. I consider them TLC and some are in better condition than others. I try to mention anything I see, but please read the description and look at the pictures.
