This is First Time CISSYS CLOTHES COME TOTALLY OFF but just to be photographed. This is not your average Cissy from the 50s – Oh No! RARE MINT Vintage 1955 MADAME ALEXANDER CISSY in her original box with all original outfit and shoes. This doll is Breathtakingingly Beautiful and MINTY- never played with. Cissys complexion is perfect! She has the paler complexion and darker blue eyes that reflect shades of blue and gold that this older era of Cissys had. She has her original full brush lashes, sleep eyes that work, and even the subtle gray eye shadow which is hard to find. The shiny light blonde 50s hairdo is in original uncombed condition with a hard set as when new with original pins. Only a few fly away hairs from her hat. She has blush on cheeks, hands and knees, perfect red sumptuous lips and double stroke painted brows. Her lovely Tagged navy taffeta fitted dress with full skirt is vintage fifties fashion perfection with the gathered tulle sleeves and matching bolero jacket. The half slip is white taffeta with crinolin; white taffeta panties; stockings with seams in back THAT STILL HAVE GOOD ELASTIC; black heels with elastic that has lost a little stretch but very good for their age… Since most of this age are totally stretched out. SHE IS NICELY STRUNG and no cracks or splits. NOTE: There is not a blemish or stain on top of hat. The woven fibers used for hat are thicker in that area This doll is immaculate as well as her outfit and her Hat is the icing on the cake!!! I have NEVER seen this hat – EVER in this Spectacular condition!!! ALL of the extremely fragile dried flowers appear to all be INTACT, as well as the leaves, silk flowers and fruit… I see one of the berries has cracked from age as you can see in photos. ABSOLUTELY 60+ YEAR OLD VINTAGE CISSY PERFECTION!!! The elastic on her shoes has stretched but stay on well and her original Box was used for storage and not mint – has tear and edges of lid torn with tape marks. She is from my Personal Collection and the most mint Cissy, with no retouching, I have ever personally seen. If you have one Queen in your collection, she doesn’t get any more regal than this! This is a very hard to find vintage Madame Alexander Cissy Queen Elizabeth Coronation doll circa 1957. She has a special side part tosca wig that is only found on this doll! She is in wonderful condition and has just been refreshed at Cissy’s Secret Spa, including restringing and blush. Her hair is in its original set. Her coloring is excellent, with original blushing at hands and knees. She has original full lashes and her green eyes open and close with ease. Her stunning gold brocade, tagged, gown is fabulous and correct for this doll! She has the rare slip that was only featured for this gown as well. She has her original panties, stockings and shoes, although the elasticity is showing age as to be expected. Amazingly, she still dons her original gauntlets, bracelets, and precious crown. I’ll include a little lucite purse I made especially for the Queen. The only issue I can find is that she has a slight pinkishness around her waist, but it’s really minor. She’s very clean and free of splits and cracks. Just a beautiful, hard to find doll! My dolls are vintage and therefore not perfect and they may show signs of age. All Cissy’s Secret items are from a non smoking, spotless studio. Props are not included.
